  1. I've already opened a ticket with support via email but it feels like they aren't reading what I'm writing and it's been quite frustrating, so I'm hoping someone here can help me out. I downloaded the free-trial of Malwarebytes on April 24, 2020. To download and install the free-trial I wasn't asked for any information nor was I asked to create an account (<<this detail is VERY IMPORTANT). It was as easy as double-clicking the .exe and once the setup was finished and the software was installed, everything was working perfectly. I ran a scan, found some PUPs and got rid of them. Great! As my free-trial neared its end, I thought I liked it the software enough to buy a premium membership, which I did through the desktopp app: I entered my credit card information and waited to receive instructions for activation. Again, all done through the desktop app without having an account: I placed the order and waited for my transaction to be processed by my credit card company, which it was on May 8, 2020: From that day until now I haven't received my key. Shortly after this, I realized that since keys are to be emailed to you and I was NEVER PROMPTED TO MAKE AN ACCOUNT, that I was never going to get my key. So I made an account and contacted support. I also though once I made an account and associated it with my desktop app that somehow it would automatically link the payment that had been made to my newly created account, but nope. What's weird to me is how I was allowed to make a payment WITHOUT HAVING AN ACCOUNT if an account is a necessary part of the process to obtain a key. My email exchanges with support led nowhere since they didn't understand what the issue was. Maybe it was my fault for failing to explain it properly, but it was still quite frustrating and I'm hoping someone can help me out here. Thanks!
  2. I bought Malwarebytes several years ago. At some point I deleted the email address which I had used to sign up. How do I transfer my account to a new email address (when I can't access the old one)?
  3. My Malwarebytes account for Macs covers two computers. Yesterday one of the two computers crashed and failed. It is not useable. I need to remove Malwarebytes protection from that now-defunct computer. Today I bought a new computer to replace it. I would like to maintain my account for two computers, and add the new computer to the account to replace the defunct one. How do I do this?
  4. Hi, I have just tried re activating my Malwarebytes lifetime license but with no luck. A day or so ago I had to re install Windows 10 as I was unable to access Windows due to an error in the Windows registry. I was also then unable to de activate my lifetime license from this old Windows 10 installation as I was unable to access my old Windows. So when I tried to re activate my license in the new Malwarebytes installation, it states that "the usage level has exceeded the maximum installations allowed". It then had an option to 'Deactivate other devices', but when I clicked this, it went straight to the malwarebytes account website, where I made an account and again attempted to re activate the license key, but with the same problem now re occurring...? All I ask is if you could please add my license key to my account so that I can indeed register it via the My Account page, and also if you could "Deactivate my other devices" for me to continue to use my same lifetime license on my new Windows installation. And I can provide my license key and email address for account purposes at any time via a private message if need be. Many thanks and I will await your reply.
  5. Hi Everyone, so I just subscribed to Malwarebytes for 1 year and installed it. Everything works perfectly. The problem is: I entered the wrong E-Mail adress. Now hear me out for a bit. My Mail Provider is Yahoo. So when I subscribed I entered the following: "name@yahoo.de". And that's where I screwed up because there only exist "name@yahoo.com" now. Yahoo doesn't support "de" anymore. When I try to login to my Mailbox with "name@yahoo.de" it still works but if someone is trying to send me an E-Mail with this adress, this Mail will never actually reach my Mailbox. And now I can't set up my Account for the Malwarebytes Product. The Mails Malwarebytes sent to me to set up my Account never reached my mailbox. Without my Account I literally can't change anything. There's also this auto-renewal option which renews my license after a year automatically. That means I have to pay yearly for this with my bank account and I can't even cancel it or unsubscribe. I actually created a new account with my correct adress in the hopea I can fix this issue. So basically "name@yahoo.com". It's the exact same adress but now with "com" at the end. Unfortunately it didn't work. I now have this account I have access to but it's not subscribed to anything. I already created a ticket to the customer support but I still felt like I had to post this in the forum and bring up a bit attention to this particular issue. I hope the problem can be somehow solved because if not, I'd have a yearly fee of 40€ which I can't cancel anymore. At last, thanks for reading all of this. I live in Germany so I'm not a native speaker. I hope you could understand everything I wrote. If not, I apologize for my English.
  6. I'm trying to install MB3 onto a 4th PC but it's saying "The usage level has exceeded the maximum installations allowed". When I check I can see "0 of 4" Available Devices but when I list them it is only showing three devices.
  7. I have a Premium Edition (for several years) on 1 PC and 2 NB. Actual 125 days left. I can't login to my account, always moaning: '"You have not set up your account. Please check your email for instructions to set up your account."'. but I didn't receive any email instruction. Sorry but can't either find a better topic and only manage create a topic in this place. Saludos y suerte from Paraguay Wolfgang Allinger
