  1. I downloaded the game 'War Thunder' from the game's site and ran the installer. While the installer is connecting I get a popup from Malwarebytes saying there is an outbound connection to a malicious IP Address, I won't post it publicly but if you want it I can PM it to you. Obviously this is a little freaky so I shut down the installer and run a quick run with MBAM and discover nothing. I then ran RKill, which didn't really find anything, and ran another MBAM scan which came up clean. I also discovered an IP in the "Web Exclusions" tab which I didn't add, it wasn't the one which came up in the popup, and removed it. I also deleted a file in quarantine (nothing serious, it was a PUP) which has been there for a few days. I'm thinking it was a false positive but you've got to be careful these days, no?
  2. Hi ! Malwarebytes blocked these inbound IPs while I wasn't doing anything at the computer. I did all sort of scans with Malwarebytes and it found 3 threats which successfully got moved to quarantine. I get no other strange behaviour but certain IPs keep coming at random times. I also scanned with NOD 32 Antivirus(latest version) and it didn't find further problems. Also, PC seems to run ok except from these inbound blocking messages. IPs:, 0, Inbound, 0, Inbound, 0, Inbound, 0, Inbound, 0, Inbound, 0, Inbound, 0, Inbound, 0, Outbound
  3. Hello; I have had malwarebytes AND avast block repeated attempts to connect to a malicious IP. Funnily enough, avast detected that something in it's code was attempting to do the same. I'm wondering if I'm infected, but I don't know for sure. I also play some games from Steam, which run on the source engine. Most of these processes go by the alias "hl2.exe" MBAM also detected this program trying to access malicious IP addresses, which it successfully blocked. I'm too worried to open the game back up, (It's multiplayer, and has a server list,) unless something gets through. I can post screenshots if needed; Assistance would be appreciated!
