  1. Hi, I can`t activate Malwarebytes, as i "must be connected to the internet". My Date and Time settings are correct, i added the executables to the windows firewall and i don`t have any other anti virus software. I do not use a Proxy Server and i restarted after the installation. I think i have done almost everything that i could find in the search relating to this Problem, but nothing helped me. Windows 10 Pro x64 8 GB Ram 4.00 GHz MBAM MBAM Build Date: 10/03/2016 22:06 MBAM Database version: v2016.09.28.05 Background Programs: AMD Gaming Evolved (Raptr Desktop App) Radeon Settings Firefox CheckResults.txt FRST.txt Addition.txt
  2. On a cleanly installed (not upgraded from a previous install) Windows 10 Pro (64-bit) with Malwarebytes Pro I am seeing this error: Event ID: 5 {Registry Hive Recovered} Registry hive (file): '\??\C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes Anti-Malware\S-1-5-21-3788415297-386881794-3068972913-1001-0-ntuser.dat' was corrupted and it has been recovered. Some data might have been lost. This error coincides daily with the MBAM scheduled scan times. A search of the internet and this forum provided limited information on the error, one of which was uninstalling and reinstalling Malwatebytes Anti-Malware. I accomplished that using the Malwarebytes Clean Uninstall Tool but the issue persists. I have completed a system integrity check and CHKDSK without errors. Any assistance appreciated.
  3. HxTSsr.exe has been quarantined, probably as a false positive. Trying to restore it results in an error message and a reference to this forum for help.
  4. I am running a Windows 10 PC. I get an error whenever I try to open command prompt," The application was unable to start correctly(0xc0000142).Click OK to close the application", I have posted about this error on Microsoft support. A member there asked to post about the error here, so as to ask you guy's if there might be any malware which is preventing cmd.exe from starting. It might be a possibility that a unknown program might be stopping it from starting. please help me with this.
  5. Hi, as the title says, I can't reinstall Malwarebytes. It all began, when I was installing Brutal Doom addon. I saw that for some reason, the wallpaper was pure black. I was scared and first thing I thought to do was to scan my laptop with Malwarebytes. It failed, because when I tried to run it i got "runtime error 92:137 - could not call proc" error. I tried to uninstall it, but..... "runtime error 92:137 - could not call proc". I used the mbam-clean.exe to uninstall it. Meanwhile, I downloaded setup for Malwarebytes. When the laptop rebooted, I opened the setup and... " runtime error 92:137 - could not call proc ". This seemed weird to me, so I searched about it in google. I saw "Can't install malwarebytes, run Firefox." topic. As TwinHeadedEagle said in this topic, I downloaded ADW Cleaner and scanned everything. Here's what I got: # AdwCleaner v5.119 - raport utworzono 10/06/2016 o 12:29:30 # Ostatnia aktualizacja 30/05/2016 przez Xplode # Baza danych : 2016-06-07.1 [z serwera] # System operacyjny : Windows 7 6. I installed both Malware bytes & anti exploit premium on a new build. There was no problem activating Malwarebytes license however as usual the buggy anti exploit hangs and buffers when I try to activate the license/key. After about 5 minutes the pop up says invalid lic/key. I uninstalled a new install, same thing. This is a fresh install of windows10 home premium, 64 bit and the only other security program I've installed is windows defender. Other then the os there isn't much installed on this machine yet. FF was installed. The free version on anti-exploit does boot up and operate properly. Attempts to email support for the product have failed. 3 emails since I purchased this product on May 14th and no reply. Thanks
  7. I bought Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Premium and it worked for only two months. After that all I get is an Internet connection error whenever I go to reactivate it. My Internet is working fine and I made sure my antivirus wasn't blocking it. Help? P.S. I don't know if this will help but here is a list of what my PC has on it: Kaspersky Total Security 8gb of RAM AMD A6-5400k Rosewell 450w PSU (I know that type isn't trusted, but it was in my budget) WD Blue 1tb HDD MSI A68HM-E33 Bridged connection between my Ethernet and Wi-Fi so that my network was a lot less weird. Steps I have taken so far: Turning off Kaspersky, no luck Reinstalling Malwarebytes, no luck Running netsh winsock reset, no luck Restarting PC, no luck. Help?
  8. i got malware on my computer and i try to install malwarebytes an a error pops up (Runtime error (at110:137):could not call proc) thats the error it pops up i need help because i cant use my internet on my computer sooo please help i need answer now !!!!!
  9. Hello everyone, I purchased today the Malware-Bytes Anti-Malware Premium and I saw that it's not a normal buy but it's more like a subscription.. So I bought it to try it for only 1 year and after buying the product I got with all the informations and stuff and at the end there is a link that gives me the option to cancel the subscription so that it's not going the purchase the license in 1 year again, but I got an error by doing that.. and after I get this error message: Just look at the screenshots.. If someone could help me just give me a solution, Thanks, Zumo
  10. I've gotten blue screens "BAD_POOL_HEADER" and sometimes even "BAD_POOL_CALLER" (I don't know the difference). I always brushed them aside as they only happened once every month, randomly. I looked up how to solve this and have not found any recent solutions, just people saying they will inform the devs. PC Specs: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/9w83Vn I have fully updated drivers, and I just updated the BIOS too. In the attached image, you can see the WhoCrashed log. In the screenshot, two of the 3 crashes displayed have bad pool header errors. The other one has a bad pool caller error. All of them say the error is from Malware bytes web access control is at fault. I love Malware bytes. I don't want to stop using it, but these blue screens are unbearable. I manually updated Malware bytes at first because I thought that was the problem, however blue screens happen more frequently now. It is worth mentioning that it seems I have blue screens when using my main login account (standard user), rather than me admin accound (admin-user). I do this for security reasons, such as programs not downloading files without my permission (admin password). Thank you so much in advance, -Jerry
  11. Ok my pc have lots of malwares i need install mbam but i have this error http://prntscr.com/ak7fzf Plese help me fast
  12. I am having a similar problem. Based on the lack of response to yours I am not hopeful for a resolution.
  13. We are experiencing the same issue as documented here below: https://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?/topic/178193-solved-error-0xc0000018-when-starting-apps/ The fix suggested is to remove MBAE and install version I don't want to downgrade my client... We are currently running version This problem is intermittent and after several (sometimes 7 or 8) reboots, the problem goes away temporarily. Please advise on how to correct this (on 175 remote laptops) without downgrading the client. At this point the only option I have is to disable the MBAE service, but I don't want to remove protection completely.

I've re installed all vcredist and .NET framework (after looking on google, for some people it worked, but not for me) I tried to run the installer shutting down both avira and windows defender (still nothing) someone can help me? i tried all solution google gave me!
  16. Sure would be nice to make helping MWB, an easier process. You'd like for us to go to 3 different places in order to "zip" 2 folders and an exe. Then email it to MWB. Doesnt the MWB program already know where those 3 places would be for the program that we think is a false positive? Why not make an option built into MWB to "report as false positive" and the program can automatically zip the 2 locations and exe? Then upload it to MWB. The program that I would report if it wasnt such a hassle - would be Avast! antivirus. I heard another post saying that Microsoft one drive had been effected... If MWB is so agressive that it is going after VERY well known programs, than it should offer an easier way of reporting the false positives .
  17. I currently installed Malwarebytes Anti-malware (Home) (Trial) . And I ran the scan it detected a lot of errors . I removed the quarantined malware and restarted it.But my PC opened the audio is not working for games and windows media player!!! Please help!
  18. Hi! I'm a long time MBAM user, but I'm actually here on behalf of my girlfriend who isn't great with computers. One day the computer had an error, wouldn't boot without going to Blue screen, I managed to system restore, but since then, all of her browsers are gone and we can't get them back. Run MBAM and it's picking up nothing, I can access IE in safe mode only through iexplore but it takes ages to load and when it does it says "Your Semantic Security Product has reset your home page after a threat" (she has Norton installed too) I know I'll probably have to post logs and stuff which is okay, it's just I have to do things through safe mode. I ran Rkill, but it got to saying Windows defender was disabled then didn't go any further. Any help or advice would be great folks. Thanks for your time Joe

Please check your license details and try entering your key again. 21. Screenshot provided. Did a scan and clean and restarted my pc start up had the same error. Did a search on here and seem others had issues so I'm guessing this tends to happen. I would greatly appreciate any help! Thanks so much!
  22. When I reboot from avast software program and anvirus definition update it gets an error "The application was unable to start properly (0xc0000906). Click OK to close the application.", same goes to Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. Many pop-ups from windows defender appears that malware is blocked, later then I found out I'm being infected by Trojan:Win32/Patched.AP (quarantined then removed) from a simple scan thanks to the only remaining antimalware that still can open during this time, Windows Defender, when another antimalware that I can open fail to do so (Iobit Malware-fighter). But that has not solved the issue. Antivirus, Malwarebytes and other major programs and security software still cannot be opened due to dnsapi.dll: lsass.exe - Unable To Locate Component "This application has failed to start because DNSAPI.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem." even in Chameleon Malwarebytes also fail to start because it's not independent from dnsapi.dll (which for me, quite a flaw compared to Windows Defender and Iobit Malware-fighter that does not require dnsapi.dll to run) I need help to restore dnsapi.dll and clean all the malware without the need to recover to an earlier state since system restore and system protection also fails to start and I don't wish to reinstall windows all over again. I tried all combination possible of cmd commands (like: sfc /scannow), regedit, accidentally installing bloatware that happens to be fake "registry fixer", using AdWare cleaner, junkware removal tool, farbar, unlocker, none worked so far. Here I attached some files from FRST. I need urgent help. Thanks for the reply. Addition.txt FRST.txt
  23. Has faced with an error MBAM 2.1.8. 1057. When checking MBAM have found dangerous files, that have been removed another 14 days ago. This happens each time. But in the fifth test she did not find their. I cannot imagine what could be the problem. I would be happy if I was wrong. With sincere respect to you, Rem.
  24. Okay, so I was browsing around Google and found a thread from last year that explains how Malwarebytes' Malicious Website Protection was causing a BSOD "BAD_POOL_HEADER" connected to the network drivers. Well, after installing Windows 10, I am getting the same error. I have tested (To the best of my ability) and it is definitely Malwarebytes causing the issue (I just assume that it is the Malicious Website Protection though, because I just exited Malwarebytes when I tested a few times, I tested by opening up my Bittorrent client and downloading a few ISO files, whenever I do this Malwarebytes usually gives me warnings about malicious connections and such, but that doesn't happen, I just get a BSOD). Before you ask, I have fully updated my network drivers, and everything is up to date. My guess is that this could be some sort of Windows 10 incompatibility, I am blaming Malwarebytes though, because it does not happen unless I have Malwarebytes open. I would love some help, anything is appreciated. If I'm not the only one, PLEASE TELL ME!!!
