  1. After I installed this software it worked for one or tow weeks and after that when it starts is always displaying the following error "Unable to connect to service"... What I can do to fix it ?

  3. Web protection will not turn on in MBAM3 on multiple machines. Is there a way to troubleshoot or manually correct this?
  4. It's first time for me to use Malware-Bytes. My friend recommended me to use this, he said it's good. But when I use it for the first time, It detects a lot of threats on my pc, I have trusted my friend about it's goodness, and I just click Clean the threats after MB finish scanning. I saw there are couple registry files enlisted. But I still selected them all and clean it. Unluckily, after that. I cannot use PC to connect with other PC whereas it's in the same network. Oddly, I still can ping them in CMD. But when I try to enter the sharing folder or network, other PC is invisible. Any Idea what's wrong with it, or any solution? *I have check everything else, Firewall, Network and Sharing Center etc. Nothing weird, it's all the same. I try to install Malware Bytes into 3 other PCs in same network, now. THEY ALSO CANNOT ENTER SHARING FOLDER, but still ping-able.
  5. I am another customer whose Malware Bytes real time protection will not turn on. I have tried the solutions here, including uninstalling and re-installing, it is still an issue. Also, Malware Bytes will not scan my computer, every time I try it will halt the scan after one second. Is there anything else I can do? I have Windows 10 64bit
  6. i was trying to install malwarebytes and i get this error Runtime Error (at 47:120): Could not call proc.
  7. As the full programme wasn't working correctly, I followed instructions found on the forum to uninstall and download again. However, part way throught the download, it stops and a message comes up ' Move file failed code 183'. so now I'm without a product I have paid for. Not impressed, to say the least! Any help, please?
  8. I had to jump over to Chrome in order to edit my post so that I could type this text. For some reason Microsoft Edge didn't recognize or load the entry field. Anyhow, I just heard about your product, JRT, and decided to try it out. Unfortunately as soon as I attempted to open it I got the error that you see below. I had also downloaded and was fully able to use AdwCleaner beforehand and really liked it. I am currently running Windows 10 Version 1607 (OS Build 14393.953) in case that helps you to pin anything down. Thank you so much for your time and assistance. Kevin
  9. Malwarebytes 3.0.6 Scan Ending at Prescan Operations Hello, I am experiencing issues with Malwarebytes 3.0+. I click scan and wait for it to check for updates, it gets to the start of Prescan operations and then says: All good no threats detected. Any ideas of what has caused this?   10. My Malwarebytes programs worked fine until the new 3.0 update, then I kept getting an error message, "Unable to connect to service". I sent support an e-mail reference the problem and received a reply and instructions on how to solve the problem. I did each step, 1. Ran the Malwarebytes removal tool, which did delete all the files, rebooted the PC 2. downloaded the Malwarebytes 3.0, I tried to open Malwarebytes and still received the same message "Unable to connect to server". I thought there might be a conflict with my other anti virus program so I disabled it and again used the cleaner and re-downloade the program and same message. I really want this program, I am a paid subscriber and don't want to loose this. I will try and send any filles you need to correct the problem, I amd not that knowledgeable in this types of problems so please bear with me. Please help!
  11. Hi people, thanks for the help. Well, everthing was fine just a few days ago, when some programs ( four until now) stop working. The first one was Razer Synapse (doesnt open), after Battle.net ( blizzard one, it opens but doesnt connect with internet), overwatch ( doesnt connect with internet) and geforce experience ( doesnt open). I already try to scan with windows 10 antivirus, eset online, malwarebyte 3.0 and the sfc /scannow ( it stops in 80% with "the operation cannot be executed"). I try to fix some HD (?) errors running the repair in disk :C, it found an error in disk C, repairs, but the error keep showing. mb3.txt Addition.txt FRST.txt
  12. Thanks, Malwarebytes. Thank you for ruining my computer. I did a full scan and deleted every file it told me to delete. I restarted my computer, and everything was looking fine until i got to logging in. I entered my password, then a few minutes later I get an error saying there was a problem. I log out, log back in, same problem. I restarted, shut down and turned back on, but nothing worked, It would direct me into a temporary account and give the the same error. I decided to restore all the files to fix the problem. A few minutes later, it stops leaving a few files yet to be restored. An error message pops up saying "Unable to restore one or more quarantined items: The system cannot find the files specified." I kept on trying to restore them but it just wasn't working. Without those files, I won't be able to log back on to my accounts. All of my data on those accounts is(are?) gone. I really need help.
  13. I previously had an issue with my real-time protection turning itself off. Support gave me the information for uninstall old version (my automatic updates were not working) and reinstall. I saved my licensing information since the instructions indicate this will not carry over and I'll have to manually enter my licensing information once the new version has been installed. During the install I did have several errors pop up (too quickly to notate the errors), but I did finally get the update installed. Here is where my new problem comes in to play. When I go to the licensing screen to enter my license information, the button to [ACTIVATE] is gray and will not allow me to activate my current license. I've posted my concern in the forums and sent an email to support and have yet to get any sort of response. Right now I'm running a FREE version of the software, but needless to say I'm frustrated since I have a paid license that I am unable to activate. Please, can anyone help? I don't even have a support phone number to contact to speak directly to a human.

  16. I purchased Malwarebytes 3.0 on Feb 15th. It worked the day I got it [2/15] and yesterday.[2/16] Today [2/17] I get the error window "Unable to start" with content text "Unable to connect the service" and the program will not start up beyond that.   17. hello i have Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and parameters no longer work for me example: i do "mbam.exe /scan" , "mbam.exe /quickscan" and others and it opens Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and thats it nothing else happens no scan nothing the main reason i need the parameters is for Winrar and the virus scan option it worked before the big update of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware if anyone else has the same problom or this is for every one is there any fix? or is the parameters going to be added soon?

Hi, I work for a link shortening service called Geniuslink (https://www.geni.us) which provides our clients with the ability to create shortened links that automatically send their customers to the best destination to purchase their products or view their content. Our site is only used to shorten and add custom rules to links, and we strictly monitor the links that are built to ensure that no one is using the service to create spam links. After a few customers reported that we were being flagged as a malicious site, we submitted a post requesting that our site be removed from the Malwarebytes blacklist. We talked with Zynthesist, as well as a member of the support team via (corporate-support@malwarebytes.org), and were told that our domain would be added to the whitelist. However, another one of our clients reached out to us today saying that they: We really don't want our customers to think that there's anything to be concerned about while using our service, so is there anyway to verify that we have been successfully removed from the blacklist? Thank you for you assistance, we'd appreciate getting this taken care of as soon as possible.
  19. I've have a bit of a confusing problem, every so often the normal windows installer program will open and sit there unresponsive and completely white as if it's experiencing an error. It doesn't crash, but it acts like it's frozen and uses very little ram and no Hard drive while looking at performance when it was running. it did dump a setup.log that I saved it's contents before it wiped itself after I closed the installer. it kept trying to create a C:\Program Files (x86)\html\div\ folder but no folder exists, even the temp setup.log tried to delete itself after closing the installer. virus Setup_log.txt
  20. So I own the full version of Malwarebytes, and also have the Anti Root Kit add on. It is set to start with windows, however when booting my PC and logging in, I received an error message stating "Malwarebytes anti root kit could not access driver, this may be due to root kit activity" followed by an error code which I believed to be 20025. I ran the application again, ran SFC scan in the command prompt and also ran advast, then I restarted the PC. once doing this the error message did not appear again, however I am curious as to why it may of happened, or if a rootkit has masked the error?   21. Hi, I am running Windows 10 on my home Dell XPS laptop after re-configuring the pc a few days ago following a disk failure. All has been running fine for a few days and I installed MBAM version 3 a couple of days ago and decided to run a scan earlier today. When I tried to open MBAM (for the first time since it was installed) I got an error message that said something like Service error unable to start Malwarebytes Antimalware. I thought I would try to resolve this by uninstalling and re-installing the software and uninstalled using 'Uninstall a Program' but when I tried to re-install I got an error message, as follows: ‘C:\Windows\system32\drivers\mbae64.sys An error occurred while trying to replace the existing file: DeleteFile failed: code 5 Access is denied Click Retry to try again, ignore to skip this file (not recommended) or abort to cancel the installation. ‘ So, I aborted the re-install and followed this process: Navigate to C:\Windows\system32\drivers Find mbae64.sys, right click and select rename, and change it to mbae64.old Now try to install new Malwarebytes, it will be installed without any issues But, when I tried to rename the file in step 2 I got a message that I need administrator permission to rename this file. I was logged on to my system with my user account that has administrator rights so I am not sure what to do. Please would somebody be able to help me resolve this so I can re-install Malwarrebytes ? Hello all, First of all, sorry for my english which is not very good, as I'm french ... :/ I'm new here and I'm using mbam since a long time as a good antimalware program in addition of an antivirus (currently KIS). Since few days, I'm testing the premium version to better protect my system, before buying it. But I discovered a big problème this morning : an repetitive error in the system event ! I look for info about it and found some other threads here on the same subject, but all were very old (about one year and moreover about old versions of mbam). So I decided to create my own subject. I have many many errors in my event system log as there : mbamchameleon - Event ID 61703 (4352) - Mbamchameleon Failed to obtain file name information - C00000BE (it could be "BE" "D4" or "6D" at the end) It could be just few per minute or a lot of (more than 50) per second !!! It's just unacceptable I found information about de-activate auto protection system, but first it's not safe to do that, second, it does nothing ! And as the problem is known since several years !! Why does it appear again ? I have the latest version of mbam ( . Thanks a lot if someone could help me ... AK.

  24. Hello MBAM team, I am receiving email alerts from a number of false positives on a couple of our servers. I have tried excluding those objects from future scans, and adding them to the ignore list. This has not prevented the files from listing as threats and triggering email alerts. I have redacted any sensitive information in the copy/paste below. What steps can I take to prevent these unwanted false-positive alerts? Thanks!
  25. Ok, so you solve the problem by disabling a feature. How do we solve this problem if we want to use the auto-protect feature? Windows Defender is turned off on my machine.
