  1. Hi, I'm getting a bad pool header bsod. It happens when I connect to the internet. I have uninstalled bitdefender 2017, and the bsod still persists. I started getting this error when the installed on date for bitdefender in programs and features changed randomly ( which has happened twice now.) I'm not sure if this is to do with malware. Malwarebytes anti-exploits installed on date also changed randomly. I don't know if this is normal behaviour. I started a thread here that has minidump files in it: https://www.tenforums.com/bsod-crashes-debugging/83605-bsod-bad-pool-header-when-con
  2. Recently, I've been getting cmd popups and BSOD's. The most recent one was critical_process_died. After this BSOD, my computer has been running very slowly and has lost some saved information. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance. Addition.txt FRST.txt
  3. Hi there, after the last Malwarebytes update on Thursday or Friday, Windows 7 will no longer boot properly. I can't get it to start in safe mode either, I get an error in mbamchameleon.sys. At first, I encountered the problem everybody else was having. I then followed the instructions to update Malwarebytes and my computer ran for a couple minutes, then completely froze. Couldn't cntrl-alt-delete or anything. So I had to hard boot my computer, and from then on it would never boot up, and seemed to always error out when loading mbamchameleon.sys. I did get a BSOD during one of the boo
  4. Hello! I used Malwarebytes to remove malware, browser adware and some SNARE virus After Scan There was about 3000 detected files. So I was a bit paranoid and I think I deleted them immediately from quarantine and restarted. Now I have Black Screen after windows logo loading, no cursor nothing. I can access Safe Mode option menu but Safe Mode also have Black Screen. I did 2 System Recovery points but it didn't work., I booted my PC using windows 8,1 installation USB and tried to REPAIR, didn't work. I tried to upgrade to windows 10 using USB to fix it but it d
  5. I was having issues and so ran Windows "Driver Verifier." mbamchameleon.sys failed immediately under stress. I've since resolved my issue which turned out to be a Qualcomm Wireless Driver but I'm uneasy about MBAMCHAMELEON.sys failing. I'm impressed and appreciative of Malwarebytes but would like to see this issue resolved.
  6. Hello, recently my PC has been getting a BSOD every time it starts up. The technical information that the BSOD gives is: STOP: 0x00000050 (0xFFFFFA801600000, 0x0000000000000000, 0xFFFFF800034E92A8, 0x0000000000000002 ) I am using Windows 7. If I restart it normally after the BSOD, everything runs fine. I also cleaned my PC of dust with some compressed air, which may have caused problems with the hardware although I'm not sure. I also recently posted a topic about malware and followed the instructions given there, although I doubt that is the cause of the BSOD: https://forums.mal
  7. Malwarebytes is causing my computer to BSOD whenever my internet connection goes live. I have identified the Web Protection module as the problem. OS: Windows 10 Home x64 Malwarebytes Version: 3.0.6 Network Adapter: https://www.netgear.com/support/product/A6210?cid=wmt_netgear_organic Netgear Driver: Error: BSOD Bad Pool Header Blue screen viewer shows tcpip.sys, ntoskrnl.exe as causing the crash
  8. +1 this. As described by the topic creator, this same issue that I experienced regularly around December is back with an absolute vengeance - it's never consistent, sometimes the system will behave itself for a good while, other times it will produce a BAD_POOL_HEADER BSOD shortly after the system starts and Chrome is launched. I've attached my logs below, on this occasion I'd been using Chrome to browse random sites for a while without encountering the BAD_POOL_HEADER error. I then launched Steam, signed into the Steam Community and launched Torment: Tides of Numenera, upon hitting the title
  9. Hi, Since I upgraded to malwarebytes 3 I have plenty BSOD caused by mwac.sys. Please see attachments Thanks for help BSOD.txt malwarebytes log.txt mbae-default.log MB-CheckResult.txt Addition.txt FRST.txt
  10. With the older version of Malwarebytes, I had to turn off real time protection because the incompatibility between MWB and Windows Defender (Window 10) was causing repeated BSOD Bad Pool Errors. I upgraded to 3.0 about two months ago. Everything ran fine for two whole months. This morning I had 2 BSOD Bad Pool Errors within minutes of launching my browser. I've turned off my real time protection in hopes that I can use my computer. Why is this happening? What is the fix? And why am I paying for protection I can't use?
  11. Hi, I have attached the Sysnative BSOD Dump for you to look at, and see what the culprit is. Can you please help me. SysnativeFileCollectionApp.zip
  12. BSOD when downloading something using uTorrent and utlilizing full bandwidth (~11MB/s). Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Premium. Also happened once playing games, great. https://www.dropbox.com/s/2g51bulpza9r062/111316-7109-01.dmp?dl=0
  13. I have had MWB installed on my computers for as long as I have ever had them, recently I got a new laptop and went to put MWB on it and I noticed that they gave the website a new look along with some new software. After I installed the new MWB on my laptop I decided to update my PC with it as well. About 2 or so days after updating to MWB 3.0 I turned on my PC and soon after it gave me a BSOD with the heading BAD_POOL_HEADER. After 3 days of fighting I gave up and reinstalled Windows 10. Two days ago I realized I had forgotten to install MWB so after going to the website and installing it with
  14. I am running Malwarebytes premium on Win 10 Malwarebytes version: Component package version: 1.0.43 Update package version: 1.0.1021 Whenever I try to run a browser and malwarebytes at the same time I get a BSOD. I had heard about issues with addons so I deleted chromes add ons but still BSOD. I then downloaded firefox and still got a BSOD. When I am not running MB my computer does not crash. When I am running MB and no browser then my computer does not crash. MB worked great on my last HDD running win10 but this is a new HDD with everything newly installe
  15. Over the last week, I've been in the process of wiping and reinstalling a Windows 10 Home installation that had been compromised by a computer service scam. After finally getting Windows 10 reinstalled, I wanted to install the latest version of MalwareBytes (for which I'd purchased a full license last January on this machine but was removed by the scammers). As soon as I installed MalwareBytes 3.0 on the machine and turned on the options for "Start Malwarebytes at Windows startup" and "Enable self-protection module" and restarted the machine, I started getting the BSOD with the descriptio

I do not have the MBAMservice.log file I'm afraid because i uninstalled MBAM before it started back up to prevent another BSOD while getting the other data. 17. Hello, beginning last Thursday we get massive BSOD's on Test-Computers equipped with Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware Beta. It seems to react negative on last Microsoft-Patchday ... but i haven't investigated further. If you want you can get the corresponding memory.dmp file. Unfortunatly due the forums upload-size-restriction i'am unable to attach the DUMP. If you are interested (Windows 7 Pro SP1 with all Security-Packs) and Anti-Ransomware Beta please contact me to send you the Dump. Yours Sincerely Wolfgang
  18. We deploy MWBARW on a number of clients machines and like the product. However, starting last Friday, we have found that when we run some existing software the computer instantly goes to BSoD with FLTmgr.exe as the cause. Disabling and/or deleting MWBARW resolves the problem. On my personal machine, a tiny program called "CheckDNS" crashed the computer. At several companies, any program that had its roots in Visual FoxPro caused the crash. On another machine Dell ScanManager couldn't be in installed. In all cases, we have had to remove MWBARW.
  19. Hello, I apologise for posting the new topic with same title. This is probably third one since I seen others facing the same BSOD issue as I had encountered it today. The bug check string and code are: BAD_HEADER_POOL and 0x00000019. Others determined the bug check as a memory problem. MemTest86+ came back no errors after running four passes. WinDBG showed it otherwise. The message said, "*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for mwac.sys *** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for mwac.sys. This is something to do with Malwarebytes 3.0 and networking issue. I f

  23. So my laptop is getting BSOD everytime I run scan in MBAM. I'm using the free version. Using the latest insider preview for W10. Using MBAM, build date 3/11/2016. Databse version updated today. Any advice?
  24. Good Evening, We have had a very unusual event happen today (and latter end of yesterday). We have Malwarebytes for Business deployed at several customers office (all seperate, no relations) and today a quite a few computers BSOD'ed on Windows 7 machines (x86 and x64) on Startup (When the windows logo appears). So one would have to restart the machine in order for it to happen. I assumed it might be a an update that Microsoft rolled out (KB3197869, on Nov. 15). However it I since tried machine that were not affected and they seem fine. I am not blaming Malwarebytes for this, I am ju
