  1. It's telling me my updates are not current but each time I hit "check for updates" it checks for half a second then goes back to "check for updates"...? Kind of irritating, I'd like to get this updated. I've power cycled and that didn't work so I'm not sure what my next option would be.
  2. So I recently got hacked due to some remnants of a trojan, had to wipe, and have had trouble getting Malwarebytes to work properly on this computer. See this thread for more background info, including logs: Before, it wouldn't start at all in Safe Mode. Now, no matter how many times I uninstall and reinstall, I cannot start the real time protection in safe mode, and in safe mode only. I plan on restoring from an External HDD backup and scanning the External HDD to make sure it's safe in safe mode (due to a random black screen reset problem in normal mode), but I can't do that without making sure I have real time protection, and no matter how many times I click the buttons in safe mode to turn each node of Real Time Protection on, they will not toggle on. I'm not even sure my PC is 100% clean now, even after a full wipe.
  3. Hello, Where we are ? I do not know exactly with which versions 3.5.1. xxxx, but about the date of your posts ... I burned the SSD Kingston of a PC (the personal one that I take to work) ... during the personalized scan, he got stuck on the analysis of memory ... Hard Disk Sentinel alerted me, the temperature went up to 62 ° ... I stopped the scan ... but too late the SSD had suffered too much, it melted some time later .. (Arf, I was at work, and not watching the PC ... but the job) And it still happens from time to time, that the scan block on the analysis of the memory ... (now I pay attention during the scans ...!) Also, where are you? FJ
  4. I have a lifetime key, the other day Malwarebytes just disappeared from my computer, no desktop, not in programs, totally gone
  5. Hello, I'm experiencing a problem that appears to be identical to the one described in this discussion on Microsoft Technet. The problem is that when Malwarebytes is installed, terminated processes leave memory unreleased, particularly in the Page Table. This chews up a lot of memory over time if many processes are started and stopped. I did not have the program listed as the culprit in the above discussion, so I used DriverView to see all of my installed drivers, started from what was most recently installed or updated and worked back, using RAMMap to see if closed processes remained in the table with memory unreleased. Malwarebytes seems to be the culprit. When it is installed, closed processes do not disappear after refreshing the Processes tab in RAMMap, while after uninstalling it, they do disappear. I was using 3.4.5 when I found the problem, and I get the same problem after updating to 3.5.1. I'm using a fully-updated Windows 10.
  6. Hi all Just updated to 3.5.1 and the 'scan with malwarebytes' is missing from the context menu. This has happened before and has always been easily fixed by either re-starting malwarebytes or re-starting windows. Since the update to 3.5.1 however none of these work. It's a small thing but just wanted to add it here.
  7. I've been running Malwarebytes 3.5 Beta since its release and now updated to 3.5.1 and all seems fine. I don't think the option was there before, but it's nice to see English UK offered as an installation language which means we Brits get the date format we expect. As I reported in the Beta forum, the intermittent problem I'd been experiencing of the DDA drivers not loading correctly in Windows 7 has not shown up in 3.5 Beta and I presume that'll be the case with 3.5.1. Thanks for the added stability. Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64x MB Premium 3.5.1 Microsoft Security Essentials CryptoPrevent Premium 9.1.0.0 Casper 10.1 Backup and Tweaking.com Registry Backup 3.5.3
  8. We have just moments ago released Malwarebytes 3.5 for Windows Thank you so much to our 3.5.0 Beta users for all the useful and on point feedback relating to the interface, performance and stability, we have taken the time to address all this accordingly and as a result, it is now time to release 3.5.1.
