OK... Now I ran Spybot and found 22 funky things...one of which was called vindumondo or something like that. I can now run MBAM...if I have any further issues, I will post. Just for safety, do I need to run CCCleaner too?

Update... I was up all night lighting my hair on fire with this thing. I didn't think to check this site before doing so, but I ran msconfig in normal, and spybot actually worked after...I then ran combofix...and it worked too! I kept getting a popup that said "googleieupdate" couldn't be found. I don't have any Google products on my machine, so I was curious what it was. I tried to run MBAM, but it wouldn't start. I tried reinstalling, but it timed out. My comp runs fast except for any anti-spyware programs...and IE7, which keep shutting itself down after redirecting me to a spoof page when I click a link from google.com search engine. I kept getting some goofy error message that "googleupdater.exe" failed to run. I don't have anything on my system from Google..only use their search engine. I ran MBAM, but it wouldn't open. I then D/L it again from the site, but when I tried to install, the progress stopped halfway thru the "extractinf files" stage...my comp then froze. I have tried to run HJT as well, but it won't open. I have tried to follow the tutorial posted here, but it hasn't worked out very well. What have I done to my machine??!!
