Hi, I'm not terribly tech savy. I have a hp pavilion dv2500 laptop. i have too many problems with the computer, which is why my first step was to download malwarebytes, however, I have loaded it on, turned off my firewall and malware protection so that i can run malwarebytes scan. It doesn't work. It just keeps freezing, no error, I've rebooted, reinstalled it, to no avail. Anyone out there who would like to take pity on this layperson (I'm serious, tech terms are like speaking a whole other language for me). Its like the teacher in Peanuts and all you hear is "wah wah wah wah wah". I sure would appreciate your kindness. Thank you so very much. Andrea
