  1. I have been trying to install MalwareBytes because Windows Defender said I was infected and I read that MalwareBytes was good for detecting and getting rid of such problems. The computer in question is not my usual computer and when I tried to download MalwareBytes it wanted to send me an email. But the email went to my email program on my other machine. Since I wanted to install it on the PC with the supposed problem, I saved the install file mbam-setup-1.51.2.1300.exe, and copied it to my problem PC. But the problem PC told me the setup file was corrupted. After some searching, I found another way to download MalwareBytes, where I could do it right onto the problem PC, and started what I thought was the installation. But pretty soon, after saying OK or continue a few times, I see that rather than MalwareBytes it is installing something completely different called Systweak RegClean Pro. I am concerned and suspicious. The supposed infection I haveis something like hiloti.gen and I read that it does things to browsers and indeed my browsers have been acting strangely and I thought perhaps the contaminated browser was using my download attempt from MalWarebytes to actually download and install something else that may be malicious. I'm not sure if I am being paranoid or sensibly cautious. So I thought it best to check here. Is it ok for me to go ahead and run Systeweak RegClean Pro? Is this actually part of installing MalwareBytes? or will the Systweak give me more headaches? Thanks in advance for any help.
