  1. If you use dial-up, your IP changes with every connection. It's also known as a Dynamic IP address. A static IP address is one that is assigned to you and never changes. By the way, there is also http://whatismyip.org which gives just your IP address and nothing more.
  2. That's a shame, because while testing some (rogue) software that was literally advertised on tv RogueRemover found it and MBAM didn't touch on it at all.
  3. I hope that StartUpLite never touches services. Far too many ill effects can occur from messing with the services. It's best to leave them alone.
  4. I don't think a rogue, even former, should ever be trusted. Maybe they can still be flagged as Former.Rogue or something similar so people know there may still be danger?
  5. No freezing issues on Windows Server 2003 SP2 (x86) or Windows XP SP3 (x86).
  6. It already does something similar to that. It says "A scan is in progress [...]"
  7. It is? Since when...? Not even AV Comparatives has looked at it.
  8. It's not just you John. There are graphics not being displayed properly too. I noticed that it's also using the domain name with no more www subdomain, however there are no proper redirects to go from www to the no-www.
  9. It almost looks like this was implemented? I see the forums are now pointing to a no-www version but the www doesn't redirect users yet. Here's what it needs: RewriteEngine OnRewriteBase /forums/RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www\.malwarebytes\.org$ [NC]RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://malwarebytes.org/forums/$1 [R=301,L]
  10. Nope, can't hear you at all.
  11. This could be an idea for a small page where a user can enter their email address or other information to be automatically sent their registration information.
  12. Posted on Lunarsoft and soon to appear on Digg!
  13. This is a good thing. Be sure to document the codes and files noted on the screen. Example: PAGE_FAULT_IN_NON_PAGED_AREA And usually says 0x0000001C and will have a file like ntdll.dll or something similar. Did you submit the error when it occurred?
  14. I run MBAM on a machine with 800MHz AMD Athlon, 512MB RAM and IDE hard drives. Machine flies along just fine.
  15. Perhaps someone in your home put it there for a reason?
  16. You did say to remind you, Marcin. Suggestions
  17. While I don't have much experience with SVN software, I imagine something could be set up to do this automatically.
  18. Considering the positioning and how often people copy/paste, it makes perfect sense to me. I'd rather not have to reach for the P key to paste something. Here's the vbalsgrid6.ocx in a zip, it should help. vbalsgrid6.zip vbalsgrid6.zip
  19. Very nice! It's on Lunarsoft and I saw it on Digg!
  20. MBAM is one very awesome utility. I plan to use it to replace Ad-Aware in my cleaning suggestions. I'd love to know what forum you found the recommendation on.
  21. Doing my part to spread the word on Lunarsoft. Been recommending people use this if they have random DLL name infections and it fixes the problems every time.
  22. Thanks Jean and Hardhead. That's interesting Hardhead, I'm in VA too. B)
  23. Thanks everyone! It was a great birthday. Slept in till noon, enjoyed a nice cake and got to watch it rain all day long. B)
