  1. Well my real protection is up and running with avira internet security. So somethings going on right now:D. Usually just crashes.
  2. You might also wanna try safe mode before installing malwarebytes or scanning.
  3. Rogues are nasty little buggers. Malwarebytes is a fantastic program but i might also recommend drivesentry. It works well with malwarebytes and most internet security programs and shows no mercy. Caught all 15 viruses and 10 malwares and 15 malcious urls. I threw at it. I use drive sentry more for a backup though. It finishes the job if others fail. I agree though the HJT forum is more suited for this.
  4. Hey brian. I also had the same problem after a update they did and ive solved the problem on my end. Not sure if it will solve yours but hey a little info never hurt anyone. I found out malwarebytes for some people. The real time mbam protection is conflicting with other internet security programs. Turn off mbam real time protection if you paid and do a full scan and when its done turn protection back on. Good luck.
  5. Which is better for backup with nod32. Or can i use both. Is that overkill lol.
  6. "I wouldnt ever have a pc without malwarebytes." Is what i meant to say lol.
  7. I understand your concerns but this is trually a wonderful product and does amazing work in the ways of spyware and malware. This problem happen with the last update and they are working on it so be patient. I wouldnt ever have a pc without malware and trust me ive tested it. It primarily is having a conflict with real time mbam protection and internet security programs. And personally i prefer drive sentry or nod32 for internet security nonmbam wise. Nod32 and malwarebytes. Your basically god mode.
  8. lol I agree. Mbam is the best. Sometimes i like to get infected to watch mbam smack it down for fun.
  9. No basically. I had to force a shutdown of mbam. The system and nod32 were fine. However it scanned fine without a crash in both quick and full mode after. I turned off mbam real time protection. My guess is its conflicting with various internet security programs.
  10. Not sure if this information will help the admins and devolpers but ive learned over the years. Every information can be vital no matter how small. I have nod32 smart security and i was crashing since last update everytime that i did a full scan. Another forum person suggested there might be a conflict between nod32 and malwarebytes real time protection. So i did a series of tests and it turns out if. I turn off malwarebytes real time protection. It scans without a crash.
