  1. Wow do I feel the fool... re-ran the scan and the file is not there. Re-started in safe mode, gone. Restarted to normal mode, scanned, and gone. But it was still there Friday before we left... very odd. Will have to just keep an eye on it. Thanks, though, for offering to help!
  2. Bumping thread--was out of town all weekend and still seeing this show up in MAMB
  3. I recently posted in the False Positive forum, and I tried a tool, but svchost.exe is still showing up in C:\Windows and MWB is picking it up. I ran HJT:

  6. I have run MS Security Essentials with no items found, but when I run Malewarebytes, it keeps finding a "Trojan" in svchost.exe. I've run rkill, and it stops it, but then a re-run of Malwarebytes shows it again. Quarantining it and deleting the entry do no good, as it keeps coming back. The system seems otherwise clean. Windows 7, 64bit, HP G72 laptop.
