  1. After installing KAV 2012 and reinstalling MBAM I did the exclusions on both and they are getting along quite nicely now
  2. Thank you, I just figured out that I had an old version that I had just reinstalled (KAV update to 2012 uninstalled it, so I went back to KAV 2011). I successfully downloaded it from MajorGeeks and it is running quite happily now. I am going to use the steps outlined in the forum post for joining Malwarebytes with KAV 2012. I will let you know how that goes (hopefully the KAV 2012 install won't delete it again)
  3. When I try to update today I receive the following error : An error occurred. Please report the following error code to the Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware support team. Error code: 732 (0, 0) Help ?
  4. Here is what Kaspersky has to say - "Malware threats are getting complecated everyday. There is a need for deeper protection and tight system integration. MalwareBytes can co-exist with KAV/KIS quite nicely, just as long as you do not enable the "Resident Protection" module. I am afraid you will find a lot of vendors integrate their security solution offers, to simplify maintanence and avoid home user hassles. You do know nothing is preventing you from installing the products back again?"
