  1. I have the same message after the last update today.
  2. I apologize for hijacking this from the OP, it was not intentional, maybe if his problem is the same he can follow and do the same as you advised me to continue on to. Thank you for your help and understanding.
  3. Hi daledoc1, I did not mention before, I do have a Gmail account which I rarely use. Today after seeing on the news how people got Gmail and other accounts hacked were traceed back to the Netherlands, I checked my Gmail account and it had been signed into, and it was not by me. So I believe the Trace to the IP number and the link I posted earlier are the hackers trying to call home from my machine with whatever they are trying to steal from me. They tried to do this on 12.02 from 8 different ports but the same IP Then again today 12.05 from 2 different ports and the same IP To me this is a hacker trying to take my info off my machine. I do I put a stop to this. I have Avast Internet Security, MBAM Pro. SAS Pro and Hitman Pro.
  4. I have been seeing the same problem. IP : 94.100.23.179 (Type: outgoing, Port: 51513, Process: avastsvc.exe) Allways traces back to the same location in the Netherlands ; http://tejji.com/ip/ip-to-location.aspx?ip=94.100.23.179 I do not use Skype or p2p. This has happened for only the past few days.
  5. I removed MBAM Pro and downloaded a new copy. How do I get it re-registered again, I can't find the product ID or key.
  6. Restarted MBAM Pro, 21 trojans listed in quartine, tried to use restore all, I think it worked but, the files are still listed there. Should I try to delete them ? In the Protection tab, there is a red rectangle saying protection disabled. Is it safe to re-enable this ?
  7. Once I did the system restore point and got the machine to run I turned off MBAM. I do not know if there is anything still quarintined or not, when it was doing the quarintine thing it must have done dozens at a time.
  8. Hi, This happened to me also. MBAM went crazy, could not start it. It took would not let me start any scan programs. Took its time to restart the 'puter also, finally did a restore point and appears OK so far ! WTF happened ?
  9. Hi, OK will do. I will watch for anything weird going on. Thank's again.
  10. Well, I have not looked around too much as yet. I did look at the restore points and they appear to be back again. I'm just kinda leery about trying to use one. Guess I will wait and see how the machine is for a while. Thank's for asking. I did not think I would hear from you again.
  11. Hi, Thank you for getting back to me. I ran the removal and ComboFix is gone. Thank's again.
  12. Hi, I am very sorry, but, I have to differ with you on this point. The problems started only after the program ended and restarted the PC, then finished the report. I had to restart FireFox because the program shuts everything down, with the exception of Avast, which I had to disable myself. So, I started to notice things were not going well when FF would not start and I could not restart Avast. Trying to restart the PC only gave me a black screen. After trying different restore points I have the PC going, as you can see, but not 100%. I had to do a new copy of Avast. Now what ? I am not sure if the last report of Combo Fix is still there after all the restore points. The program is still on the desktop as I did not remove it with Revo Pro yet. Thank's, Help me out of this mess !
  13. Hi, Well I hate to tell you but this process almost did in my machine. It pretty much killed Avast, it will not restart at all, I had to resort to running Windows Defender for now. I have tried to do restore points, so far they have only partially worked.
  14. Hi, Thank's for getting back to me. The very first one is: C:\swsetup\APP\Multimedia\CyberLink\PowerDirector\8.0.3129\src\Main_NonReg.zip|>Styles\Romance02~Profile.reg Then the files all start the same, with: C:\swsetup\APP\Multimedia\CyberLink\PowerDirector\8.0.3129\src\Main_NonReg.zip|>Styles\Romance02\ Then continue with : 1) heart.png 2) heart-2.clt 3) icon.jpg 4) love-1.wmv 5) love-1_mask.wmv 6) Opening.clt 7) opening.WMV They all have under "Status" : Error: Archive is password protected. (42056) I have tried to remove these, move them to the chest, but can do nothing with them. Thank's
  15. Hi, Now I have no idea what you are talking about ! Remove what program ? I do have Revo Pro,
  16. Hi, I did everything on the list. Where am I supposed to see the files and folders ?
  17. Hi, I think all went well. The subject of Recovery Console did not come up that I saw. 18. Hi, you were doing this in Win7 right ? On my machine > under Internet Options > Security Tab > Reset all zones to default level; looks normal, with the exception of Default level, which is Greyed out. > Privacy Tab > Default > looks normal. What do your settings look like on both of these tabs ?
