Version 2.0.2.1012 setup does not mention that it is installing CHAMELEON. I have a problem with this. I may not WANT to install Chameleon. Chameleon acts like a rootkit, installing its own private bootloader and system driver. Shouldn't the user be told it's going to do this? I don't get it.

Hi, I would like to remove Chameleon, it's a very old 1.62 version anyway and I don't want to install the new one, Malewarebytes runs fine. This is a very sophisticated tool that installs as a hidden service, installs a system driver and most probably its own protected bootloader, and is even discovered as a rootkit, according to GMER. All well and good. This means that only Malwarebytes has the correct tool to remove this product. I'm surprised there is no information on the forum or anywhere else covering this. Ok then, how to do it.

..and more important, (assuming it can run in an infected system) can MWB CLEAR the TDSS Trojan?

Hi, looked at your advanced directions instructions. Ok, those look pretty meaty, my redirect infection was cleaned by other perhaps hysterical means, but good you have some other advanced utilities to help with this infection. This is one mother of a Trojan, an absolute tsunami of malware you can't stop unless you know exactly what it is. There's the hidden rootkit infection, and then all it's evil siblings that it brings on board when it hijacks you to more infected webpages. Whew, what an evil beast.

This is the most aggressive trojan from hell I have ever run across. MWB does NOT detect it, remove it or anything else. Comments, suggestions from the MWB team appreciated.
