  1. sorry about the spelling mistakes as i was typing this and solving a pc problem on the phone at the same time.
  2. Hey guys, This is my first post on this forum but i have been a user of malwarebytes for a long time now. The other day i was working on my friends computer and i found that he was running Nortons 360, with my complete hate for this software i removed it off his computer and installed AVG free and malwarebytes free. The avg went on with no troubles at all, but the malwarebytes kept coming up with the error Program error load datebase (0, 13, create SDK) so i jumped start onto the forums and google to see if anyone else was having the same problem and yes there was a few. So i looked into the information on how to fix the fault that was posted which was the same fault that I'm writing about here. All the information that i saw kept saying show hidden files etc etc.... But i noticed that this was not working for me and a couple of other people that have reported the same error. for the people that still have this fault and can't fix i have found out how to, Step 1: Was there another internet security program or anti-virus program installed on you computer before you tried to install malwarebytes. (Norton's, Mac afee, Trend micro)Then keep reading if not stop reading now. Step 2: Download the removal tool designed for the old software and run it. i.e. Norton's removal tool. Even if you have removed the program via add or remove programs still run it. Step 3: Restart the computer. Step 4: Delete or rename the rules.ref file. Step 5: Check for updates with malwarebytes and see how you go. Please let my know if it works for you guys as it worked for me. Thanks Morphous
