which file?

I faced some problems: it asked me all those questions (Re-Enable -> Yes)and then came "Unable to open the file" ?!?!

do I have to do this, they seem to be disabled? Or just the second, enabling part?

Hi! Some time ago I got here the instructions to disable the DVD-ROM drivers (by GMER or DeFogger, I am not sure). Now I realised that DVD-ROM works properly on my guest-account, but not on admin-account. What can I do? Thx!

Hi there! Well, I am not 100% sure, if my comp is infected, but sometimes it behaves awkward. F.e. in my admin account there was no picture, just blue background; all of a sudden there is a XP-picture with meadows and sun and the sheep. :-))) And there also situations with IE. Sometimes it reacts veeeeeery slow, sometimes it hangs up. I tried yesterday to make the rootkit scanning; first I had to restart comp manually after disableing CD Emulation drivers. After doing that, I started GMER and it went good until I started a movie at the same time (what obviously caused the crash), then came the blue screen with the message "Driver IRQL not less or equal" - reboot - re-enabled the drivers - reboot). Can someone give my any opinion, please? F.t.beginning, I am sending the HJT log file. Thanks! hijackthis 18.7..txt

ok, I got it, I should have restarted my comp manually....

third problem: after I tried it one more time, system crashed with blue screen....?!?!?!

second problem: I cannot run GMER, due to admin rights, though I am acting from an admin account. Any alternatives?

Hello! I tried DeFogger, but my comp won't restart (I can only see the dialog box, where I can choose between Disable and Re-enable). What should I do now? defogger_disable.log

No prob :-) Well, I am going to try your advice like PAV2012 and see what happens and come back here. btw, that article about GMER and DDS: last year I had some infections and did all those things, advised from HijackThis-forum. But I can try that one more time, of course.

Hi! I have also experienced such problems, from freezing the prog until crashing (restarting) the system after pressing the "remove"-button. I am running Panda AV and Comodo Firewall. Same procedure as bescribed above? Thx!
