  1. No log, sadly - the issues were not on my own computer, but a neighbor's computer that I currently do not have access to. I was there to remove a virus from his computer, and while the virus itself (XP Antispyware 2012) is gone for good (thanks to Malwarebytes), I've run into another problem. I found out that Windows Security Updates had not updated in a long while, so I went to download the latest and 'greatest' from their security center. Immediately, Malwarebytes went nuts blocking IP addresses. While it was blocking them, Windows Security Center would not download anything at all. I put the IP addresses on 'ignore', and lo and behold, the updates started downloading. The IP addresses were 222.186.20.151 and 221.192.199.49. In addition, when windows security tries to auto-update, Malwarebytes immediately blocks the IP address 58.218.199.147. I don't know if it has anything to do with it, but while that IP is blocked, Security Center just kind of 'hangs' - it does nothing at all. Doesn't download, doesn't install... nada. I'll be going back there to try to fix all of this in two days, but I'd like to know whether this really is Malwarebytes blocking Microsoft Security Center or not, or if I need to start looking for another little nasty thing on his computer. Thanks so much.
