I am in need of step by step directions on how to get rid of this virus. I am a senior, very limited cpu knowledge, but can usually follow step-by-step instructions. This virus is a real pain. Malwarebytes does not remove it even after rebooting and I also use Avira Antivir Personal software and it cannot remove it either. This virus will not allow me to "search" the internet without redirecting me elsewhere. I use Firefox, latest version, and have Windows 7 Professional OP. The registry Data is hidden under: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows\App|nit_DLLs|C:\ProgramData\api-ms-win-core-errorhandling-|1-1-032.dll| also: c:\programdata\api-ms-win-core-errorhandling-|1-1-032.dll Today Malwarebytes will not update to the latest update.
