hello guys i have a new weird issue that appeared when uninstalling dap by speedbit i uninstalled it because i don't need it any more but while uninstallation wizard goes it redirected automatically to speed bit website for feedback which is quite normal i closed the page to continue. and then something appeared the wizard states a that there is a shared file which may be deleted and my affect other programs using it and states that it's harmless to leave(it was in windows folder i guess and i couldn't take a snap shot sorry) any ways it says if you aren't sure of what you are doing just click on (no for all) i clicked no to not delete the file. but after a scan using psi by secunia i noticed a new program that wasn't there before also it is not listed in programs and features :s but i have a screen shot this time .(crazytalk) what is it ? , is it harmful ? thanks

thanks Exile 360 but in that pic the allow access button has the UAC logo. does this means that if i accidentally tapped it. then it would ask for a confirmation before allowing anything , right? stop me if i was wrong . thanks

hello i have a usb drive with the <using provider> in the autoplay options and it's called an orphaned entry i contacted the manufacturer but it seems that their website is down or something and i can't submit the problem and i want to use that usb stick without damaging my machine. so what it the best way to use this usb witout any harm can i use it in the car's stereo (i guess it would n't affect it). but the main concern is the computer. pc is running on windows 7 ultimate 32x thanks

hello screen317 sorry for being late but the issue has vanished it just appeared for one day and then uptill now it didn't happen again and the pc is running fast and normally so do i have to take those steps as well or this was false alarm my mbam is updated daily and no detection was found the pc is clean and also avira sp2 scans results with no detection shall i proceed? Advanced setup it's good to see you again no i wasn't trying to play any content it only appears when someone trys to chat with me and not otherwise (in other words when Friend send me chat message and before the chat sound beeps ) so when it appears and i click close the (beep) sound of chat plays and chat begins but if no action was made to the message the chat sound will stay on hold this was tested many times and i'm very worried that it might be something related to security :\

hello every one today every time when some one start a chat with me a message pops up while i have never used quick time i only installed it for Itunes (weeks ago) is this a sign of a threat or infection ? this was noticed today as i always chat with lots of people and no problem it only started today. 5-6 days ago apple update program asked to update i tunes and quicktime but at the mean time secunia psi scans states itunes is up to date and secure. windows 7 ultimate 32x

HI CWB well actually i don't know but i really like that program it has lots of good features.(like a fast video downloader,easy file trimmer and converter) but i hate updates i don't like to mess around with my computer with lot's of installation when every version is released :/ any way i pressed ok instead of close on the error message is that okay or that means i did something wrong??? also the vulnerability issues and symptoms which was reported by secunia was advanced to me i couldn't understand it. https://secunia.com/advisories/44014/ are all the symptoms in this topic will affect only real player or it's gonna affect some other files on my computer?

sorry Screen 317 for being so late i know that you are working hard. but what can i say work work work i got no time for any thing as here in egypt we work 12 hours plus any way back to the topic i tried to delete recently (sorry for the delay) so i rescan both full system scan and quick scan and it wasn't there i also checked ignore list and it wasn't there does the disk clean up on the (c drive )affects or remove that file? as i recently applied disk clean up for speed reasons. i rescaned full scan also by avira sp2 and nothing was found. thanks again and i'm really sorry for the delay.

hi guys today i face a new wiered issue as 2 days ago psi by secunia recommended to update real player so i did and i opened real player then check for updates and it found one so i applied but every time download discontinues so it redirected me to the download link of real in order to download manually and i downloaded it then installed successfully and i guess it auto removed the old version. but today i opened real then a message of real player licencse agreement appeared then i accepted and then nothing realy opened real player wasn't openened and instead it was all in white like it was crashed or something any way i closed it and reopen it and it worked so i closed it and tried to open a video from which was saved on my pc by the real downloader (i opene the folder directory manually) then played the video and when it opened an error which i can't remember because i paniced when i saw it (something about .dll file and to resolve issue please reinstall real player ) is this some kind of a security vulnerablity or system being hacked as there was a report on secunia's website about dll of real player (old version) but mine is the latest https://secunia.com/advisories/historic/2/ btw the error appeared 3 time and i was stupid for : 1-pressing ok on the error message although it was the only choice offered (but i could have pressed x) 2- for not reading the error code for reporting here . any way but after the 3 times of this annoying message appears and pressing ok :S the video started and worked normally. am i safe now ?

hello guys sorry to bother you again but i noticed something wiered when i first got this laptop 7 months ago i downloaded stuff from cnet like jet audio and winrar but today when i opened start >control panel>programs and features i noticed that winrar is like that : winrar 4.00 beta 4 (64-bit) omg did i download and installed a beta version of winrar??? does this compromise my security in any way ?, i just noticed that today. thanks but when i looked at the setup file i didn't find any thing related to beta

to crack windows ??!! do you mean that this pc is running on a non geniune copy of windows? would it affect any thing if i removed it?

never mind but just i want to let you know that even after the uninstall wizard continued and finished successfully the tray icon of kmplayer was in the system tray but vanished when i rebooted system. and i found the kmplayer folder in the program files folder and it contain only one file (kmplayer icon) or call it (the application file). so i deleted that folder manually and confirmed with admistrator rights (uac) so is this fine as well or not?

yes i downloaded the file from the link you gave me but it's from unverified publisher so should i continue and run this or did i download something unsafe? the file is KMplayer_EN_3.0.0.1441.exe 14.80 MB

Advanced setup it seems that there is a small misunderstanding here as i already uninstalled it from the start menu>kmplayer>uninstall and it finished successfully but it seems that there are some remains which i already deleted it manually at the program files folder and documents and i never uninstall a program by just deletig it from the program files. i also rescaned psi and program kmplayer vanished. well i guess if i redownload and reinstall kmplayer the same issue will appear as it seems that the uninstall wizard of kmplayer doesn't 100% remove it so again i had to remove manually all documents and some other files related to kmplayer please correct me if i was wrong. Hi advanced setup it seems that uninstalling kmplayer needs a cleaner tool or something as i saw a folder which was created at documents so here what i did i went to program files and shift delete on the kmplayer folder and then confirmed uac (admistrator rights) then at documents and also deleted the kmplayer folder. is this good enough or should i redownload ,reinstall then uninstall windows7 ultimate 32 bit
