Cant initiate Malwarebytes installation...

I got hammered with the 'Anti spyware 2009' bug. Been trying to get rid of it and downloaded 'MWB' tried to install it, not working. Neither will any other Ad ware remover. IE7 will not even go to spyware remover webpages anymore. Downloaded and burned Avira AntiSpy rescue cd. booted from it, ran scan, no problems found........Tried running 'malwarebytes' again, no succes. running out of options.
