  1. Many thanks for your reply. Restoring the Exploit Protection defaults worked and Power Query is running once again. Thanks. Paul
  2. As of this morning, every time Power Query is run in Microsoft Excel, Malwarebytes closes Excel with "Exploit Blocked". Threat: Malware.Exploit.Agenet.Generic Technique: Exploit payload macro process blocked. I can not even open Power Query from a blank file. These are long standing files that have worked for years. Malwarebytes Premium 4.2.1 MS Office Excel Version 2011 (Build 13408.20000 Click to run) Beta Channel released October 16.
  3. Do you have a date for the release of the new update?
  4. Same here. Started a few days ago. Did a clean uninstall and reinstall. OK for a couple of days but Web Protection again now fails to start.
  5. I too suffer from this problem on shut down. Is there a solution on the horizon which does not involve disabling elements of protection? Many thanks. (V
  6. "I have loads of Protection stuff. Anti-Malware, Anti-Spyware, Anti-Virus". Same here though not the home made browser. The block appears only to be triggered when attempting to access google.com. Odd.
  7. Same problem here with both Firefox and IE. Google.com is blocked but google.co.uk is OK. Full scan did not reveal anything.
  8. I have now backdated to v1.50.1 and that works fine.
  9. Many thanks for creating a topic for me. I have attached the OTL reports. FWIW, after restarting the computer this morning, it is still giving the same error message. Reagrds. Paul Extras.Txt OTL.Txt
  10. I am also receiveing the same error message since the update to 1.51. I have tried the ipconfig procedure and also tried rebooting (twice) but with no luck. Any suggestions gratefully received. Paul
