  2. Hi here is the zipped file. Please let me know if it is a false positive or not. Thanks untitledproject1.zip
  3. Hi Apologies for the new post. To determine if it a trojan false positive, Please can you tell me whether I need to Restore a quarantined trojan before zipping and attaching it? Also do I need to Restore the trojan before running the developer mode report? Thanks
  4. Hi there, Please help. I need to check to see if this trojan is a false positive: c:\vistaosx09\untitledproject1.exe It came back after two scans after the database was updated twice today. Please tell me what the next step is in checking for a false positive, as I've never done this before. How do I zip this file, is it through Malwarebytes or do I simply find and zip the file on my computer? Thanks. P.S. It says at the bottom of the log 'deleted succesfully' but it is still in the quarantine file. I hope this is okay. Log: Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.50.1.1100 www.malwarebytes.org Database version: 6465 Windows 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1 Internet Explorer 9.0.8112.16421 28/04/2011 22:25:21 mbam-log-2011-04-28 (22-25-21).txt Scan type: Full scan (C:\|D:\|) Objects scanned: 251423 Time elapsed: 50 minute(s), 37 second(s) Memory Processes Infected: 0 Memory Modules Infected: 0 Registry Keys Infected: 0 Registry Values Infected: 0 Registry Data Items Infected: 0 Folders Infected: 0 Files Infected: 1 Memory Processes Infected: (No malicious items detected) Memory Modules Infected: (No malicious items detected) Registry Keys Infected: (No malicious items detected) Registry Values Infected: (No malicious items detected) Registry Data Items Infected: (No malicious items detected) Folders Infected: (No malicious items detected) Files Infected: c:\vistaosx09\untitledproject1.exe (Trojan.MSIL.ND2) -> Quarantined and deleted successfully.
  5. Okay please help. Took me all day to get to this point, been very busy. I ran another scan after restoring the trojan this morning (the database was at 6462) and the trojan has come back again, does this definitely mean I am infected? A number of people posted that it may be a false positive yesterday here: http://forums.malwar...showtopic=83019, so please forgive me for being still unsure. I have no experience of this. Also now it's the evening here since I've logged back on and I've noticed that the database has updated again a second time, since this morning, will this make a difference if I restore again and run scan or am I definitely infected? Thanks.
  6. Hi exile360 Thanks for your prompt reply. After the scan was done and I put it into quarantine, then my computer rebooted automatically. I think it's because there was a Windows update, is it still okay to do the updated scan? Perhaps I'm being presumptuous... as I'm currently running a developer scan to get the log file. However I didn't restore the trojan beforehand so I guess it makes it meaningless, should I stop and do as you said? Thanks again.
  7. Hi guys, New hear so please be gentle. Ran a scan this morning after 27 days (very slack). I have a trojan msil.nd2 which is in quarantine. I've googled that this is serious threat to privacy but on another thread on the false positives forum, yesterday, people are assuming it is a false positive...is this correct and does that mean it's nothing to worry about? Here is the link: http://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?showtopic=83019 Or is this serious? Do I need to change all my passwords now? Thanks
