  1. I've been using MBAE Premium with KIS 2015 and MBAM Pro for a couple of months - no problems here. This is what I call layered security.
  2. I think I now know what you're talking about: Farbar Recovery Scan Tool. I just downloaded this tool; results will be sent to you via personal message. PS: Logs sent via personal message.
  3. Just tell me where to find this FRST log and I will send it to you. The only security programs I use are KIS 2015, MBAM Pro and MBAE Premium. They should be compatible with each other, shouldn't they?
  4. I just sent you the information you requested by private message. Hope this helps. Buddel
  5. OK, I just installed version 1.05 on top of version 1.04. I am still reluctant to reactive a shield for Windows Live Mail because I don't want WLM to crash again. It's rather annoying to see your e-mail client crash while you're writing an e-mail. Maybe the developers of MBAE can find out whether or not the latest version of MBAE is fully compatible with Windows Live Mail. For the time being, WLM will remain unshielded here for fears of crashes.
  6. (1) Is version 1.05 still experimental or a final release? (2) Where do I find the latest version? (3) Can the latest version be installed on top of version 1.04? Thanks for answering my questions in advance.
  7. The topic title says it all. No matter what shield I use, it happens quite frequently that MBAE 1.04 crashes WLM. I was just writing an e-mail an hour ago when MBAE popped up and told me it had stopped an exploit code. This is definitely an FP. I do hope this will be fixed with the release of version 1.05.
  8. (1) When clicking the "About" tab, I would like to see the date on which my license expires. All I can see now is my license ID. (2) In the "Shields" tab, I would like to see what applications are currently shielded. (PS: Already suggested by the OP above.)
  9. This is what I needed to know. Thank you very much, pbust.
  10. So am I right in assuming that MBAM Pro + MBAE + KIS should be perfectly compatible with one another?
  11. 81.169.145.151 is flagged as a malicious site. This is an FP, isn't it?
  12. Question to OP: What or who makes your post "official"? The title of this topic is misleading.
  13. OK, thanks very much for the information, exile.
  14. Thanks for the new version. There is just one thing I don't like about it. I can no longer use FileASSASSIN, which used to be part of MBAM. When I now click the FileASSASSIN icon in MBAM, Internet Explorer shows me where I can download this program. First, Internet Explorer is not the browser I usually use. Why doesn't it open the browser I always use (Opera)? Second, I don't want to download FileASSASSIN as a separate program. Why is it no longer bundled with MBAM? Apart from this, the new version is great.
  15. This problem was also addressed here: http://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?showtopic=107747&st=0&p=552292&hl=website%20blocking&fromsearch=1entry552292 Please fix it. Thank you.
  16. Same problem here (Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit). Does anybody know when this will be fixed?
  17. This is exactly what I wanted to hear. Thank you very much for your help. Much appreciated.
  18. Dear all, I have long been using MBAM and HostsMan, both running in real time on my computer. Quick question: Do you think HostsMan is really needed as long as I use MBAM in real time, or do they complement each other nicely? Thanks in advance for your giving you opinions.
  19. Yes, this is what I like about MBAM - couldn't live without this brilliant program.
  20. Thanks for your reply, Popeye. Good to know that MBAM and SAS like each other.
  21. They do work perfectly. Thanks for your replies, ksiemb and Buttons. Much appreciated.
  22. Well, I should add that I use this "combo" for more than a year without any problems, but I just want to make sure that it's OK to use these programs in real-time. BTW, thanks for you reply.
  23. Hi folks! I'm sure this has been asked before but I just couldn't find an answer to my question. I like both MBAM and SUPERAntiSpyware, and I have licenses for both programs, so I could let them run in real-time. Is it a good idea to run both programs in real-time or should I use one of them for on-demand scans only? It sounds a bit like overkill, I think: AntiVir, SAS and MBAM. Thanks for your opinions in advance.
  24. Just downloaded the latest database version - FP is fixed. Thank you.
  25. MBAM just popped up, telling me java.exe is a trojan downloader. Here's the log: DETECTION: C:\PROGRAM FILES\Java\jre6\bin\java.exe - Trojan.Downloader I'm using the latest version of MBAM, database version 5249. I'm sure this is a false positive. Would be great if you could fix it soon. Thanks in advance.
