  1. Please read the following instructions. They will help you to report FPs: https://forums.malwarebytes.org/topic/177810-how-to-report-a-false-positive/
  2. I think you are sufficiently covered by MBAE and Sandboxie. Adding HMP.A would be overkill and should be avoided because of possible conflicts between the two anti-exploit apps. Just my two cents.
  3. This is normal behavior, nothing to worry about. Some more info here:
  4. Please see the first sticky topic in this forum. Introducing Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware
  5. I did read the forums but I don't have any of the problems described here. Let's hope the next build will work for those who have problems with the current beta build.
  6. Why are you waiting so eagerly for beta 6? What's wrong with the current beta build?
  7. I'm currently using Kaspersky Internet Security 2016. This is not meant to be a recommendation; it's simply my personal choice.
  8. How to report false positives: https://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?/topic/177810-how-to-report-a-false-positive/
  9. There are people who use and like it (I'm not one of them, though. Not because it's a Chinese app, no, not at all, but I'm currently using another Security Suite). Just give it a try and decide for yourself if it is a keeper or not.
  10. I think it's a good idea to keep it because traditional security solutions often fail to protect you from exploit attacks. Yes, it is easy to use. It's a set-and-forget app, so to speak.
  11. No need to be concerned. This is just a list of programs than can be protected by MBAE. This does not mean, of course, that you use all of them. The lock symbol means that these apps are (or can be) protected by MBAE. The unlock symbol means that these programs are not (an cannot) be protected by the free version of MBAE. In order to get full protection, you need a valid licence for MBAE. Hope this helps.
  12. No problems here with AdwCleaner 5.0.3.1 and MBARW Beta 2.
  13. The Malwarebytes dog beat me by a couple of seconds. EDIT: My cat can't type. How come dogs can type? Hi DD!
  14. Already posted here: https://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?/topic/178022-malwarebytes-anti-ransomware-screwed-up-my-system/ I'm sure your problems will be dealt with as soon as it is possible for Malwarebytes.
  15. Temporarily disable your security apps and try again. If this doesn't work, reboot into safe mode with networking.
  16. OK, let's hope safe mode will help. EDIT: It may also help to uninstall the old version first before installing the current beta release. Make sure no files and folders are left before installing the current version.
  17. Temporarily disable your security apps and try again. If this doesn't work, reboot into safe mode with networking.
  18. Thanks for you feedback. Good to know you got it working.
  19. I had similar issues. I had to whitelist MBARW in my anti-virus, so that an Internet connection could be established. Please check your firewall settings and/or temporarily disable your security apps.
  20. Exiting MBARW and restarting it might trigger the prompt. Just give it a try.
  21. I got the prompt a couple of minutes ago. All is fine here. Thank you, Nathan. Much appreciated.
  22. I upgraded to BETA build 2 a couple of minutes ago. Splash screen reappeared after rebooting my computer. So I guess this problem has not been addressed yet and will be fixed with one of the next builds. Thanks, Nathan.
  23. Does this mean that MBARW can now be started minimized?
