Following the course this thread is taking..... 1) This is not an infection, this is a false positive. Try this: Create those bogus files yourself and the infection will miraculously disappear, delete the files again and the "infection" returns. 2) For two years there has never been a problem with my security setup, only recently these false positives have started to occur. MBAM only runs on demand on my system, for all its files exceptions have been created in other security software. 3) It's not helpful to put off every problem that appears with eiher "You're infected" or "there's a conflict with other software". There's also a third consideration to be made: "Does THIS software deliver a reliable result or is it just smoke and mirrors...."
