  1. I would just like to ask with regards to this "Trojan.Downloader" File that was detected by Malwareytes when I scanned my laptop 6 hours ago. I'm not sure whether these are a Trojan or not, but when searching for it online I think it's just an application to download and uninstall the Veoh Web Player Beta to be able to watch videos online via Veoh.com. Can someone just please confirm and check on this information it would be really much appreciated! Thank you..
  2. nope.. the only antivirus/adaware programs i have are: McAfee and Lavasoft Ad-Aware.. and well windows defender too since its pre-installed in Vista.. thats the only tools working as far as i know for security.. And as i have checked the file to which malwarebytes stops its an GEAR file (software) but i havent made any changes to that as far as i know.. Apple has licensed the GEARAspiWDM.sys driver for adding CD/DVD functionality to iTunes for Windows (http://www.gearsoftware.com/support/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1064&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0)
  3. Hi there! I just installed Malwarebytes a week ago because my previous spywaye/malware program wont scan my system (full scan).. That is why i decided to use Malwarebytes as a back-up but now everytime i try to fully scan my system it stops during the middle of the process.. What might have gone wrong? Well before I scanned my system I had a program installed but that's only Microsoft Office 2007 & Adobe Photoshop CS2.. I'm using Windows Vista 32-bit as my OS btw.. Here's a screenshot of the Malwarebytes when it was not responding during a full scan:
