  1. This song has been in my mind these days: Run away, turn away, run away, turn away, run away. Run away, turn away, run away, turn away, run away. Run away, turn away, run away, turn away, run away. Tell me why, tell me why, tell me why. Tell me why, tell me why, tell me why. Cry, boy, cry. Cry, boy, cry. Cry, boy, cry, boy cry. Cry, boy, cry, boy cry. Tell me why, tell me why, tell me why. Tell me why, tell me why, tell me why. No you never cried to them, Just to your soul. No you never cried to them, Just to your soul. Tell me why, tell me why, tell me why, tell me why
  2. I am interested in computer viruses, threats as well as in medicine , human immune system, etc. I might become a doctor some day
  3. I am not 100% sure but I doubt the CD contains your specific product key/licence. The CDs are produced in many copies and not specific for a user. The back-up CD contains old version of Malwarebytes so I personally woudn't recommend your friend to get it. MBAM is freely available on many sites such as Bleeping, Cnet , Majorgeeks , etc. You should keep your licence in safe place but in case you lose them, Cleverbridge's online support (or your offline reseller) can provide them to you.
  4. Well, I see it's a long thread. From the logs I see you have IE8. Open Control Panel -> Add or Remove programs Find Internet Explorer 8 and uninstall it. Ignore all the warnings you may see and continue. Reboot. Run the System File Checker. Please, prepare your Windows XP installation disk, you will need it. Follow these steps: - Click Start, click Run type sfc /scannow, and then press [ENTER]. - Follow the prompts throughout the System File Checker process. - Restart the computer when System File Checker process is complete. Install Windows Internet Explorer 7 first: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?familyid=9ae91ebe-3385-447c-8a30-081805b2f90b&displaylang=en Report back the results - if IE works now ? There are more things we need to do afterwards. If these instructions doesn't help you, please post again - there are other things we can do.
  5. <BUMP> Guys, what's up with this ?
  6. It is old because it is not updated as often as the real online updates are. And generally speaking - if your computer is not connected to the Internet, you don't need MBAM updated that often.
  7. Additionally, I would advise you perform some disk check to ensure you don't have errors in the hard drive. For Windows XP: http://www.updatexp.com/windows-xp-chkdsk.html For Windows Vista and 7 : http://www.w7forums.com/use-chkdsk-check-disk-t448.html
  8. Hello and welcome to the MBAM forums! Try reinstalling Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware. Download and run mbam-clean.exe from here It will ask to restart your computer, please allow it to do so - very important After the computer restarts, temporarily disable your Anti-Virus and install the latest version of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from here Note: You will need to reactivate the program using the license you were sent via email if using the Pro version Launch the program and set the Protection and Registration. Then go to the UPDATE tab if not done during installation and check for updates. Restart the computer again and verify that MBAM is in the task tray if using the Pro version. Now setup any file exclusions as may be required in your Anti-Virus/Internet-Security/Firewall applications and now restart your Anti-Virus/Internet-Security applications. You may use the guides posted in the FAQ's here or ask and we'll explain how to do it.
  9. You don't provide much information. Please, tell us more. What server ? Have you tried System Restore to a return back to a previous system state ? http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/using-windows-vista-system-restore/ http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fixtheproblem/ht/system-restore-xp.htm
  10. Hello! Read this sticky post and perform the instructions. Do not post here in this forum subsection but post in the Malware removal one instead

  12. Hello! I believe the site ovo.bg is incorrectly blocked. MBAM blocks this IP 195.216.243.106. Hope you can this it .
  13. I wanna know if you like me, Girl Give me sugar and honey, No, we don't need any money, We love each other 'cos love is for free!
  14. Consider purchasing the PRO version . It is awesome! It's so light you can't feel it at all. Protection is so high. It catches so much more malware than many other AVs. Its licence is lifetime (use long, pay once) and is cheap.
  15. This should belong to the famous remote-support software Team Viewer www.teamviewer.com
  16. Excuse me for poping-up but isn't this a crack for ESET NOD32 AV ? From what I can see from the log , it is the crack actually.
  17. Hey there! AVIRA Lab has analyzed this file and thinks it for clean. I haven't started it since I don't have VM handy. archive password : infected MBAM detects it as Rogue Security Shield Pro setup(1).zip
  18. By writing auto-quarantine, I mean not completely silent product but just a message with no options - something like this:
  19. Yes, I meant for the protection module. Thank you for your reply!
  20. I have got a client (end user) who uses Dropbox on all his computers (home and work) as well as MBAM Pro on all of them and he hasn't reported any issues to me.We talk to each other often. P.S. I am sorry for interrupting in the thread. winnyuk , please, follow Mainard's or other expert's advice . What he asked you is not only used when dealing with malware.
  21. I am sorry for interrupting here but why don't you provide PayPal with a link to this topic/thread here . This is the official MBAM forum and since MBAM staff member says eBay sellers selling MBAM are not legitimate then this may help you with the refund.
  22. I always disable the antivirus' real-time protection while performing a scan with MBAM (e.g. quick scan or full scan). This definitely improves the scan speed a while. Earlier today I performed a quick scan two times while not rebooting and I noticed the second scan was more than 50% faster than the first one. I think that MBAM is so good (so perfect) that it has pretty much nothing to change The only things I would like to see changed (added) are password-protection that prevents people change program's settings and auto-quarantine.
