    This bug is really caused by avast, sorry guys There's improper hook implementation of CreateServiceA + ChangeServiceConfig2A functions in our BehaviorShield, this will be fixed asap.

    It looks like MBAMService values in registry were not created properly... I don't think avast monitors/blocks Reg/NtSetValueKey, so is this MBAM bug - or should I look into this problem deeply in avast? thank, pk
