  1. Hi Malwarebytes. I did the best I could with following the instructions. Linda Ellis mb-check-results[1].txt
  2. Same here. So glad I read this forum!! I now know it isn't my computer why I got the memory low and right now I am operating in safemode. What does Malwarebytes have to say about all of this?
  3. I am reading all of these comments and becoming quite disheartened as the exact same problem happened to me. I wish now I came here (my judgment mistake!) rather than contacting Malwarebytes by email to their support. I wrote to inquire if I shoud delete the MP43DECD.dll and MPG4DECD.dll and the other two that showed that they were Registry files, and someone at Malwarebytes named Larry replied that it was okay to delete them. Now, I am learning that I should not have done that. So far I have been able to view Youtube and I have a DVD in playing, but it looks like I am not able to get the files back via a system Restore. I have a Windows XP computer. Larry wrote that I can expect more issues because my computer is XP. Now, come to find out here that these all were False Positives! So, I guess if I can't restore them or reinstall them somehow (doubt if Microsoft will help me out on this issue since I have Windows XP), like someone else here wrote we are just out of luck. So, I have learned a valuable lesson about the value of just leaving some things in Quarantine until you have checked everything out including come here! Thank you.
  4. Hi daledoc and RootAdmin, thank you. I'll start on that right now. I appreciate all of your specific help. Thank you both so much!
  5. Hi again, thank you. I just went in a third time and got 176.74.176.179 with the type outgoing "successfully blocked access to a potentially malicious website." I do have a lot of links on my blog, do you think one of the links would be causing this? If so, it would be most difficult for me to figure out which one it is. When you say "tooltip balloon" I am not sure what you mean. You are not referring to the Malwarebytes pop up correct? I do not have any advertising on my blog. It is quite strange that you do not see the pop up and I do. So, would it possibly be something wrong with my computer? I haven't received the pop up message on any other website today. Thank you. I truly appreciate your also clicking on my blog to test it and I am encouraged that it was okay on your end. Thank you.
  6. HI. Thank you so much for your fast response as well as the link which I just read over. That helps to know that you don't plan to drop us XP users for awhile at least. I do have to ask about "IP" -- I imagine that stands for Internet Provider? I'm not sure where I get the "IP address" at though. Culd you explain that in more detail. The URL is my blog address that I provided above, correct? Thank you. I look forward to hearing from you, and appreciate your help.
  7. I am so very sorry, I hadn't scrolled down quite far enough and didn't see it. Yes, I would like help from the forums if possible. I have had my blog for over five years: www.limesstones.blogspot.com. and when I went to open it up tonight I got a pop up from Malwarebytes that said it was blocking it. So, I don't know what to do next. I appreciate your help so much. And, again I'm sorry that I didn't see the WIndows XP. I am so glad you are still supporting it because my computer is running well; thanks largely to Malwarebytes that I have come to rely on so much. Thank you.
  8. After Malwarebytes popped up for my blog as a suspicious site, which I am alarmed to see and will have to deal with that, I went into Malwarebytes' website and tried to report it using the form, however, the WIndows XP is no longer showing as an option for my operating system. Does this mean that Malwarebytes is no longer supporting Windows XP computers? I have a paid version of Malwarebytes. Please advise. Thank you.
  9. I signed on with the paid version of Malwarebyes in January of 2010. Do I need to renew my subscription to Malwarebyes every January? If so, does Malwarebytes send me a reminder? Please advise as I have not seen anything from Malwarebytes yet coming to me in my email in-box or regular mail about paying for renewal of their service in 2011. Thank you.
