  1. Hello Firefox, No, this is not a bug. The time it takes to load the IP blocker is simply to unload and load MBAM's database. On Windows 7 and Vista this is expected behavior to take a while. Thank you.
  2. Hello theghost808, Where you experiencing scheduled items not starting on the time you set for them? With 1.60 scheduled updates and scans now occur within 15 minutes of the scheduled item (up to 15 minutes before and up to 15 minutes after the time set for scheduled tasks). Did you modify anything in regards to your security software for your fix to occur? Thank you.
  3. Hello alicez, Please follow these steps: Launch MBAM. Update MBAM's database via the update tab. Close MBAM. Launch MBAM. Select quick scan. If the item comes up that you wish to ignore, please highlight the item, then click the 'Ignore' button. Then click the button 'Remove Selected'. (If the contents of the scanner after you ignored the item is empty a prompt should be displayed. "No items left to remove.") Please then close the scanner. Going forward, just for now. Launch MBAM. Update the database. Close MBAM. Launch MBAM. Then perform a scan. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask. Thank you very much.
  4. Hello obo123, Typically we request users to create their own posts as it will be easier to keep track of you. No two systems are exactly the same so care has to be taken to ensure everyone gets their system working the way they wish it to. Helping two users in one topic can be confusing to the helper/person being helped and to help keep track I recommend opening a topic for yourself. Thank you for your assistance and if you ever need help please do not hesitate to create a new topic describing your issue and a friendly forum helper will be glad to assist.

  12. Hello Charlie, Depending on the current logged in user, different hives of the registry (as well as the files) are scanned. This (along with different types of scans) can cause a difference of items found during a scan. Since your friend's box was infected I suggest having it cleaned up by one of our forum experts.
