  14. cork1958, mbam-clean will remove all traces of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware from your system. Please install 1.70 onto the machine having an issue and provide the mbam-check log. Thank you.
  15. Hello cork1958, The logo replacement is for the context menu icon replacement. There isn't a clean way for Windows to update the icon cache so a reboot will fix that with no issue. For computer #8 (the one having the issue) Please post an mbam-check log: Create an mbam-check log: Download mbam-check.exe from here and save it to your desktop Double-click on mbam-check.exe to run it, it should then open a log file Please attach the CheckResults.txt file which should now be located on your desktop to your next reply Thank you very much.

  17. Hello Nisei This setting will warn you when your database is one day out of date. This should prompt you each day when you turn on your system and launch Malwarebytes Anti-Malware before a scheduled update occurs. This will update your database once a day around 5:35pm and repeat each day. If you turn on your system before 5:35pm on a new day and launch MBAM your database will be out of date by 1 day and prompt you that the database is out of date. Depending on your needs, you can update your scheduled update to be more frequent. To edit the old scheduled and schedule a new item, the scheduler FAQ is located HERE. If you have any questions please let me know. Thank you very much.

  22. Hello JohnnySokko, It's possible for two programs to interfere with each other. While that occurs it would be fairly difficult to not notice this occurrence. We try to find any of these incompatibilities and report them to the development team. Sometimes a quick fix is adding exclusions between the two programs. Short answer, in general no. Long answer, there can be an issue during installation of a program. If an anti-virus has a false positive of one of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware's files (ie mbamcore.dll is false positive flagged as malware) the anti-virus would prevent the file from being placed in the program files folder and it would be placed in the anti-virus' quarantine zone. When this occurs a reinstall would be required to have Malwarebytes run properly. So a simple way to avoid this is to temporarily disable your anti-virus software. Also, sometimes when an anti-virus is installed after Malwarebytes Anti-Malware is already installed, the anti-virus software may flag our software as incompatible and run our uninstaller. After that simply reinstalling Malwarebytes with the above suggestion to temporarily disable the anti-virus would be needed to have both an anti-virus and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware running along-side each other. The edit feature on the forums becomes available once you hit 50 posts. If you have any other questions please do not hesitate to ask. Thank you very much.
  23. Hello JohnnySokko, We have no reported issues between the two. Issues with software can vary from applications not launching to a slowdown on system start-up while Malwarebytes Anti-Malware is loading. If Malwarebytes Anti-Malware begins having issues you can always create a topic here to begin receiving assistance with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. If at anytime Malwarebytes Anti-Malware is installed and is showing issues contact the forums or our helpdesk and you will be assisted. Thank you very much.
