  1. Does Malwarebytes have any advice for customers who use ZOOM.us for video conferencing? Recent warnings by FBI have been in the news.
  2. I received a message on my desktop PC today to upgrade to version 3.5.1.2522 which went well. When I began using my laptop I noticed that it has version 3.2.2.2029 and when I hit the Updates section of the MBAM Dashboard nothing happened. Why won't it update to 3.5.1 ?
  3. Porthos, Doing the Uninstall and Reinstall worked and MBAM 3.0.6 is back up again. I did have to manually delete some files and folders that the uninstall and mb-clean tool did not delete for some reason. Thanks for your help.
  4. When I clicked on the MBAM Desktop icon , nothing happens. I have attached the MBAM Service log file, FRST.txt and Addition.txt files & mb-checkResult.txt file. Windows 10 did a 60 minute update earlier this week but I'm not sure if that caused my problem. What should I do next? MBAMSERVICE.LOG FRST.txt Addition.txt MB-CheckResult.txt

  6. My system is Windows 10 Home, version 1607, OS Build 14393.693, X-64 processor. The MBAM log is attached. MBAMSERVICE.LOG
  7. Windows did an automatic update to my Win 10 last night and now my Exploit Protection in MBAM 3.0.5 will not turn on. It has been stuck on "starting" for over an hour.
  8. Since I updated to MBAM 3.0.5, I get the error message every day "Updates are not current" and need to update manually. The switch to automatically download and install application component updates is ON. Is there a way to get updates automatically like we got with MBAM 2.X ?
  9. Luke gave me some steps to follow to reinstall MBAM and I am okay now. The problem happened after I quit Malwarebytes in my toolbar tray if you want to simulate that problem with your programmers. I tried to click the shortcut to open MBAM again, tried two different MBAM.exe file and always got error message "Unable to start, unable to connect the service. Thanks Lisa.
  10. I can't start MBAM on my PC. Version 3.0.5 was working earlier today but now I get a message unable to start, unable to connect to service.
  11. Can I delete viewpoint.exe and related files from my PC or are they needed for AOL to operate?
  12. Should I enable the self protection module in the Protection tab or leave it off?
