i was just having the same problem, it was putting the files on my external hard drive. i stumbled upon this post in my research on the issue. i however did not let it finish. i unplugged my comcast modum, unplugged my linksys router, ran Avast, deleted any infections, and havnt had the problem return. i plan on running spybot search and destroy also for a little extra measures. may even run ccleaner to clean out my regestry and such, ill post back if i have the problem return! avast - http://www.avast.com/free-antivirus-download spybot search and destroy - http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/index.html ccleaner - http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download
