  1. Ok, I dragged it into the recycle bin. Do I need to worry about the steps that the uninstall was suppose to take care of such as the clock reset, restore point, etc? I followed the other 3 steps you outlined. So, I guess I'm good to go? Thank you for your help!
  2. On the desktop it says Combo-Fix Should I try the command in the command prompt window?
  3. It says no items match your search. I wonder if it has something to do with the date being wrong on my computer when I began doing all this.
  4. After I copy and pasted the uninstall command, it says windows cannot find ComboFix... I did not previously uninstall it, so I don't know why it can't find it.
  5. It found nothing. I went to the location you directed me to but found no log file.
  6. It is working now Thank you for your help. Computer still seems to be lagging at times online. It's like it gets hung up. From what you saw in the logs, should all be ok?
  7. I installed Firefox and it won't remember my hotmail password no matter what I try.
  8. If I log out of my hotmail account and try to log back in it says wrong password. I have to retype the log in name and password, then it works. It's as if the login is remembering the wrong password.
  9. Still having problems with hotmail. mbam_log_2011_01_16__19_39_07_.txt DDS.txt
  10. Hi, Thank you for your help. The time on the computer somehow changed and was the cause of the problems with windows update and possibly the hotmail issue as well. The computer still runs slower than normal though. DDS.txt Attach.zip
  11. My computer is acting very strangely. It won't allow for windows update and is giving me a security certificate warning when I try to open hotmail and when I tried to download Malwarebytes. I had a virus a while back and someone here helped me and said all was well, but the computer has been slowing down more and more and now this. Please help.
  12. I figured it out. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I guess I'm good to go?
  13. ComboFix was ran from my thumbdrive so when I try to run that command, it says "Windows cannot find ComboFix..."
