  1. I'm feeling good to be on a site that I'm not a Root Admin for. Stressful stuff. Considering getting back into consulting and out of Gaming Community management.

  2. Thanks, Screen, I appreciate your looking into this! Regards, msicuu2.exe
  3. Chris, Thanks for your reply! I ran everything as requested + attached an additional report called "Attach" (from DDS.) Furthermore, I got an error from DDS at the end, which is attached as a .JPG file. Again, I really appreciate the help; thanks for the further investigation into this! Regards, DDS.txt Attach.txt mbam-log-2011-04-15 (17-19-23).txt
  4. Hello! I've gotten the following error since a reformat done as of last night. It was a restoral to OOBE state. I am using a Dell XPS L702X. The OS is Windows 7 Home Premium x64 build 7600hijackthis 04-12-11.txthijackthis startuplist 04-12-11.txt. I ran into problems immediately when trying to run TurboTax Home & Business 2010 (immediate appcrash when running, compatibility mode doesn't help... verified all .NETfx installations, no solution,) and now encounter this consistently: An error has occured in the script on this page line: 5 char: 5 error: Library not registered Code: 0 URL: res//C:\Windows\system32\mmcndmgr.dll/views.js ...that's just an example. Library Not Registered is very persistent. I've done a lot of looking around and it seems to be the result of a corrupted uninstallation of the Windows Live Essentials group. I'm getting answers here & there, also, that it's spyware/malware-related. Please help! Thanks! (Using SAS Pro-Registered, MBAM 1.50.1-up to date, shareware version, Avira AntiVir Personal, Spybot S&D 1.6.2 updated.) All scans clean, SAS crashed on game strategy guide file (BFG Games HTML redirect, as .exe)(???) NOTE: Lots of Roxio-related products & services; haven't uninstalled them, as they cause LOTS of BSOD's. (have in the past) User msicuu2.exe
  5. Thank you for the timely reply. I'll navigate there and read-up. Can you expand on Automatic Malicious Site Protection? I've seen this... "Malwarebyte's blocked..... 82.33.33.222" I just made that up, but wanted to ask: Is there a way to get expansion on those messages? Thanks again for the welcome & prompt reply.
  6. I've been looking around lately and been trying to reevaluate my personal choice for antivirus software. Avira AntiVir Premium Security Suite is the best so far, but I'm starting to second guess it; lots of false positives and honestly too sensitive, even at low detection levels. I'm a subscriber to TIS Internet Security Pro, now Titanium Security (nice to see the lack of 6-8 background processes, but less of a GUI and ability to navigate to the easier/simple things like restoral through a quarantine.) Ca ISS is simply vulnerable, whereas Norton (free from my ISP) doesn't cut it in too many ways to mention. What's the recommended one out there in the professionals' eyes? I'm hesitant to try anything new, as I always find myself trying to master it, only to be disappointed. Thanks. PS - first post. Sorry if off-topic a little. (I signed up b/c of a MBAM-related error; is there a glossary or catalogue of the error codes for users or licensed ones?) Thanks folks. PSS - I almost forgot to say... with regard to the poster who stated that 99.9% of licensed users purchase again... Personally, I consider MBAM nothing short of the standard for A/M software and have found that most assume one has it. I consider it pretty darn generous to publih it for free (with, also, the frequency licensed users get updates!)
