I am not much of a tech person ( senior, very senior citizen), and my laptop was invaded by this antivirus 2009 beast. I didn't download it ,but it kept popping up and messing around and driving me crazy. I tried several malware removal programs advertised as free, but as soon as they fnished the scan, they informed me that I had to pay and purchase a program to remove the mess. this program lived up to its promises, and was easy to use. the nasty icons and popups have disappeared. as soon as our finances improve ( we are caught in the housing crunch..), I will purchase this program. its not even a monthly fee, but a one-time install and pay. What a deal kudos to those folks
