MBAM not starting is easier to see. Just disabling protection is more insidious--is it possible to prevent the change of settings by malware?

I logged in to suggest password protection. On a friend's computer, while scanning the MBAM window and the entire display freezes. On reboot, the protection "enable protection mode" is unchecked!! More than hormones to motivate this request.

For home use, is one restricted to one computer or can mbam be installed on multiple PCs (same user)?
