I have zero sympathy for those who use pirated software, they cause us all headaches, but I do have sympathy for those paying customers who become victims of this whole ridiculous cat and mouse game. Curing the disease by killing the patient is extremely effective if the overriding objective is to "win" in such silly battles but it seems like a very poor business strategy. I guess false positives in the war on piracy are an acceptable margin, unless of course you become a false positive.

I'm presently at 2 hours and still running. There's definitely an exponential slowdown in the scan as time goes on - the longer into the scan the slower it takes. It's current scan rate is approximately 3 files per second. Something is not right here.

For some reason it has stopped doing it. I was running an antivirus scan at the time, so it may have been a memory issue. But then again, I have 2 gigs of memory.
