  1. I know this is an old post I am still experiencing the same issue.
  2. A few second after I finish manually updating the database,the memory usage of mbamservice.exe rises up to 60mb and then it will stay at 47mb. Normally,this process only use about 27mb of memory.So is this a memory leak?

  4. I do not own a hp laptop.Under the detail tab,the product name is soft think launcher and the file size is 39.1kb so I guess it's safe. Thanks for you help.

  8. In version 5,avast now has heuristic and a behavior shield which increases the detection rate.The memory usage has also went down.Scan time is also noticeably faster.I believe avast 5 will become the best free av
  9. I just found out that malwarebytes currently has 8 or more full time employee and yes they do get paid.They also have 3 or 4 part time employee. Please don't ask me where did I get those numbers from
  10. Maybe try updating again during non peak hours. If this does not work,reinstalling mbam might help
  11. I think it is your internet connection.Consider upgrading your connection from 256k to something higher. I also get this error when my internet connection is too slow.

  14. Its very popular video site in china.There is no problem getting to the main site which is 56.com When ever I try to do a search for a video on that site,malwarebytes block it.
  15. Ok.That site can remain blocked. Now I'm receiving another warning about 121.9.234.233 while trying to visit so.56.com and I'm sure this is a false positive.
  16. Thanks for the information both mystery and noah.This site is actually a movie site that I have been using for some time.Never knew it was malicious. As for the pop ups,I have blocked it using adblock plus and flash block so I should be fine. Still want it to be unblocked because never had any problems on that site.
