  1. I have to agree with digmorcrusher It's good if updates happen automatically before scanning but, this really is misleading. Why have the indicator at all if it's not accurate?
  2. Using latest free version 3.3.1 Upon running the app, Dashboard shows that the updates are "current" even if I have not run the program for three weeks or more. It's easy enough to update if I click the link but, previously Malwarebytes would show the date of the last database and even warn if older than X number of days. I believe this is a serious oversight especially for inexperienced users who may not think to check for updates before scanning.
  3. Followed the steps that you outlined. No issues to report and all seems well. Will run Anti-Malware and report back if anything shows up. Also, I disabled Softperfect RamDisk before I re-installed. There was no issue such as in my other post here:
  4. And just how does one check for updates? I don't see any way to do that.
  5. For some reason the app Kerish Doctor just informed me that Malwarebytes Anit-Ramsomware was removed from startup. No idea why, what or how. Was simply reading an article on the Internet using Internet Explorer at the time. A re-boot confirmed that the app does not startup at boot. However the MB3Service is running. Started the app manually but, is there no way to tell it to auotstart again from the GUI? Can do this manually but, not sure where the startup entry is supposed to go. I assume [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run]. Will do this for now until someone advises differently.
  6. Attaching zips as requested. Unfortunately minidump file has been dumped. Ccleaner probably. I believe the info it contained is in the first post. The answer to your question about softperfect is YES. I have Networx v5.5.5 and RamDisk v3.4.7.0 both installed. As indicated in the first post, the faulting driver does seem to belong to RamDisk. There have been no further instances of conflict through many reboots. All seems fine working together. Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware.zip MalwarebytesARW.zip MBAMService.zip
  7. Should have mentioned that I'm using Windows 7 Home Edition 64 bit. Not sure how to edit the previous post.
  8. FYI - Immediately after install (BETA) 0.9.17 I experienced the infamous BSD. After re-boot all seems well except a second re-boot was required since I needed to allow program through 3rd party firewall. FWIW - the faulting file spvve.sys is located in two places "System 32/drivers" and "C:\Program Files\SoftPerfect RAM Disk". Both identical files installed on the same date. Nirsoft "BlueScreenView" results as follows: 093016-24835-01.dmp 09/30/16 07:25:32 AM SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED 0x1000007e ffffffff`c0000005 fffff800`02e90665 fffff880`033cb0f8 fffff880`033ca950 spvve.sys spvve.sys+281f0 x64 ntoskrnl.exe+79665 C:\Windows\Minidump\093016-24835-01.dmp 4 15 7601 275,096 09/30/16 07:27:08 AM A problem has been detected and Windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer. If this is a new installation, ask your hardware or software manufacturer for any Windows updates you might need. If problems continue, disable or remove any newly installed hardware or software. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing.
