  1. Thank you Porthos. I have passed along your comments.
  2. Someone asked this question at another forum so I'm posting it here to get an answer. Thanks in advance.
  3. All licenses are current and work. The support desk sent me an email. Here is part of it Be aware that for a few hours the 4.5.23 version was pulled. Now it is back and I was able to update the computers.
  4. I thought I'd provide an update. Apparently only 3 of the 5 licenses were blacklisted because only 3 are listed in My Account online. I had to install NET 4 and was able to run the tool on my three Win 7 computers. I could not run it on the XP computer. I assume the tool only works on v 4. Because the key was not blacklisted for the v 3 running on XP, it is still working properly with the original key. I did not install NET 4, nor run the tool on a Win 7 computer which has been working perfectly since 2017. When I ran the tool, the 3 computers changed from a Free version to a 14 day Trial Premium version. I sent screenshots to the support person, showing all 5 computers. She then gave me a new key which is good for 3 computers. So I now am back to my 5 Premium Lifetime licenses. Today's problem: I've attempted to update four Windows 7 computers from v 4.5.22.236 component package 1.0.1915 to 4.5.23.241 component package 1.0.1927. All 4 computers update the database and then when I check again, tell me, MBAM is up to date. I see a thread here https://forums.malwarebytes.com/topic/295325-malwarebytes-4523241-component-package-101927-is-available-now with the same problem. Rather than go through the failure to update on my four computers in this thread, I will follow the above thread to see if I can figure out what is going on.
  5. Just an update. I got help immediately on Friday and I was very happy with the assistance I was getting. When the 1 computer (always the same computer) had a problem, support and engineers issued a completely new license on Monday afternoon. Apparently that wasn't the problem because today with the new license, the computer did the same thing, changed from Premium to Free because strange computers were registered on My Account. My trouble ticket was escalated today. I'm extremely upset now. The first thing the support woman did was blacklist all 5 licenses. Now instead of 4 working programs and one with problems that I solved myself, I now have Five broken copies of Malwarebytes. All the Premium versions reverted to Free and I can't get into My Account online. It looks like I will no longer be using Malwarebytes. The program she said I need to run on all the computers (I ran it on just 1 computer so far), needs NET 4. I'm not even sure I'd be able to install NET 4 on XP. The other Windows 7 computers don't have NET 4 and I can't see the need to install it. It cleans out things and runs a Trial version of Malwarebytes. In a week or two the trial becomes a Free version. Since all computers reverted to a Free version, there is no advantage. She will not give me new Keys until I run the program on all the computers. So basically, she broke Four Malwarebytes programs that were working, updating and scanning properly.
  6. Thank you. I submitted a request for help and the automated message appeared at a working email address. Hopefully in a week, I will get this fixed.
  7. I'm running a lifetime license (I own 5) on several computers. I've had problems with one computer since May 2022. (Windows 7, one of four Windows 7 computers) For some reason, it registers 3 devices. Mine as well as two other computers not owned by me. The computers change. I have about 20 screenshots I've saved showing the computers. Up until last Saturday, I'd go in and remove the two or sometimes three strange computers. When there are three strange computers, mine is pushed off and the lifetime license changes from Premium to Free. Last Saturday, I went to look over the situation and was asked to verify my account. No problem. I entered my email and went I went to get the verification code, I was greeted with this. I have no way to ever get an access code. Had I been informed that the site was being taken down, I would have changed the email address registered with Malwarebytes. I tried the chat Help and that was useless. When I finished, it gave me a trouble ticket number which gets sent to a none existent email address. Tell me what my options are to be able to log into my account and access my registered computers information. Thanks in advance.
  8. I just wanted to report that I finally heard from support. Life tends to get in the way of what I want to do so I didn't see the email until 10 hours later but eventually it will get sorted out. Thank you.
  9. It's been 10 days and nothing from support, other than a support ticket number on the 17th. MBAM updated to 4.5.14 and so far I haven't reverted to the Free version, which usually happens when it updates to a new version. I've noticed when I hover my mouse over the icon, I no longer get a popup showing me the version and the word premium. I have to open the program to see the version. If I right click, I can see that all 4 protections are loaded so that means it is still a Premium version.
  10. Tonight I decided to try a different browser. My default browser is FF ESR. I decided to see if Brave, which is closer to Chrome would work. It did! My verification code was accepted and the new dashboard opened. It took me awhile to figure out what to do to manage this device so I could remove the 3 activations it listed. I removed them and then was able to activate my license. I still want to talk with support so I'm keeping the ticket open - no response yet but when they respond, I will try to set up the other devices.
  11. I've filled out another support ticket with one of those addresses. I have to say, it was hard to get the blanks for the issue to remain filled in. After I selected something, it kept going blank then complaining it was blank when I hit the submit button. I just checked email and I have an automated response and a ticket number so it looks like it was submitted correctly. Thank you both for your assistance.
  12. I contacted the support desk in May. It might have been May 11th. I didn't write the date down. So far, I have NEVER received a support ticket from them in over 3 months. I have one email address for the forum and a different email address for my Malwarebytes account. When I click the link for a "new" request, which email address should I use?
  13. First I can not run the tool, so no point in asking. I've had this issue with 1 computer since May 7th. (I have 5 lifetime licenses running on different devices; the other 4 have no issues). The computer in question is running a 32 bit version of Windows 7 and reverts my lifetime license to free and disables the 4 protection modules. I did download and install v 4.3 on May 12 then updated it to 4.5.9 which was current then. It is now running v 4.5.13. Since then every few days or up to 2 weeks my MBAM loses it license so I open the account, click on Activate license, sign in with my License ID and License key and am told I've reached the device limit so I click on Open My account. Today I am not able to get into my account. I now have 5 verification codes emails sent to my email address and every time i either copy and paste or type in the code that was sent, I get Verification code is incorrect. I need help being able to get into my account, remove the 3 dates that keep changing that says MBAM was activated and get this one working. I can supply by PM or email the date of purchase of MBAM, the License ID, the License Key and my full name, address and whatever other information you need.
  14. As I suspected, NET 4 and above is needed. So I'm going to stop here. You can mark this problem solved.
  15. Yes, I'm back in business with a Premium version of MBAM. I keep posting on the forums I help out at, if you only have money to spend for one security program, buy Malwarebytes! THANK YOU so much Porthos and AdvancedSetup!!!
  16. Thanks. Then do I download and go thru the set up again?
  17. Logged in and it wants a verification code. I got that. Now it says Available devices 0 of 1. (It is the correct ID and license info). Do I download it again? What happens to the version that is on the computer now? I erased the info. This is what I see
  18. Additional info...because I'm not protected, I check for updates and I do a scan. After the scan I was presented with trying the premium version for 14 days. When I put in my email address here and click on get started I got unable to contact licensing server. Perhaps that information can help you see that something is blocking my malwarebytes from getting to the licensing server.
  19. All that removing things and I'm at the same place I was on Saturday. It's funny because I got a popup earlier today asking me to buy malwarebytes. Is there a removal tool? I'm going to uninstall malwarebytes, download a clean version and see if the clean install will allow me to activate my license.
  20. Aside from that, what can I do to turn the Free version of malwarebytes back to my Premium Lifetime version?
  21. Thanks for sticking with me guys! Okay, I downloaded my fixlist, ran it, let the computer, reboot and do a check disk and let the computer reboot again. Attached is the result Fixlog.txt I know it will take time to look over this so I'll look in again in about 2 hours - no hurry. I will be around tomorrow all day.
  22. The fixlist file attached to your post is unavailable.
