I need to get malwarebytes up to date on a computer that I can't get the network connectivity working on, so I downloaded the mbam-rules.exe file from http://malwarebytes.gt500.org/, but that only brought it up to 7/6/2011. Could I get an updated version of this please? Thanks.

I have a computer that had been infected with something. No matter what I do, when I install malwarebytes, I cannot update it due to getting the error above. I have this problem frequently with infected computers, and yet there is no clear fix for this that I have found anywhere, and a clear fix for this is a must due to malwarebytes being much less effective when it isn't up to date.
