I was reffered here after being unable to install malware bytes. (Encountered a problem and needs to close when I run it) I have created the DDS logs but GMER keeps crashing the laptop after a few minutes of running. (3 attempts) What other steps do I take now, I can post the DDS and Attatch logs here if I need to at this stage, but I thought I should sort the GMER first

Same again, encountered a problem and needs to close when I launch Malwarebytes

I'm on XP and followed instructions, but the clean tool comes up with an error: SHGetValue failed with error code 0 What should I do now then?

I've recently downloaded MBAM and tried to run it, but it will not work, it installs and gives me the message stated above. I'm 100% sure it has worked before on this machine, but that was before the OS was re-installed. Since then its failed multiple times to work It installs and only gives an error when run, and also uninstalls, giving the same error once the uninstall is complete Any help please?
