    ok got it to go. found info in other post about exclusions for win7 running AVG. After that was done, MBAM ran, stopped on cliconfg.dll for awhile, seemed to be locked, but then completed scan.

    ok did that. Same problem. MBAm hangs on cliconfg.dll.

    My pc is freezing at the same file during MBAM scan. Whenever it reached cliconfg.dll, it freezes. I tried limiting the scan to that file and it completes, however it will not complete a scan of the "Windows - System 32" folder. I ran scans from AVG 9.0, with no problems, and not infections. I have a win7 64 bit machine. MBAM 1.46
