  1. After my Windows XP laptop was infected with one of the rogue "anti-virus" trojans, Malwarebytes was invaluable in getting it under control. For some time afterwards, the Trojan would attempt an attack on a daily basis which was effectively detected by Mbam with the option to quarantine it. I finally discovered that the virus/trojan had created 24 scheduled tasks (In Task Manager) named at1, at2...at24, each one to run on the hour every hour of every day. The task called: run: c:\program files\internet explorer\wmpscfgs.exe. After deleting the 24 tasks, the trojan has not reappeared.
