  1. Sorry i could not get back to you in a timely fashion. Had to deal with flooding here in CT. I will be online later today or we can do this tomorrow, any time (Eastern Standard). -law
  2. I downloaded & ran the rules.exe - no change. i will try removing rules from my firewall, delete MBAM (run the cleaner), reinstall it, then update rules to firewall.
  3. Could this be a virus? In the meanwhile, I will read on & get back to you.
  4. No luck. I have a another computer that is able to update. Is it possible to copy the rules from one machine to the other? If so where do I find the rules?
  5. First Response after starting next... after OK click on update tab, date is for 7/6, click update...
  6. Here is a capture of the clean-up as it was finishing. Prior to this shot the dialogue asked if I wanted to uninstall all the components. I then downloaded and installed the program, restarted, and it tells me the database is out of date by 55 days.
  7. I downloaded and ran the program. Here are the logs, attached. I will now do the next move and contact AdvancedSetup. -thanks dds.txt attach.txt
  8. Thank you for your patience. I only have the evening to work on this. Here is a screen capture of the command after run.
  9. Thanks to the both, however it did not help. I still have the same message when i attempt to update. I tried the reinstall process first and still nothing.
  10. Thanks for replying and your assistance. I followed the directions, no problem. I referenced the FAQ link and installed/ran mbam-rules.exe It did not work, my database is now 10 days old.
  11. I am running Windows XP. When i start MBAM, a dialogue pops up telling me it is outdated by 9 days. Asks if i want to update, choose 'Yes'. It immediately (without actually downloading) responds: You have the latest database version. It will not update after version: 7035 How do know if my firewall settings are correct? Or is it a virus?
  12. I recently had a virus removed from my computer. One of the methods involved using Defogger. It turned off my CD emulators. When I completed the process of malware removal, I followed the instructions to turn on the emulators. Now, when I put a DVD, blank or loaded, my computer won't recognize anything. It tells me to insert a disk into that drive.
  13. Thanks again for all your hard work and patience!! I would very be happy to make a donation after the holiday (pay day).
