  1. One other thing. I'm pretty sure how I started the infection. I downloaded a computer virus scan program which needed to be activated. When I selected the activate button, the window I was working in disappeared as did any trace of the program I downloaded. About 10 min later I got to see the first downloaded porn clip. Funny thing is that I scanned all of the un-RARed files with both Superantispyware, Avast and Malwarebytes before I executed anything. None of the programs found any malicious content in the folder I had un-archived the RAR archive to. Avast continually gives me false positives so when all three came back with a clean bill of health I was pretty confident. Also, I'm not too concerned with the infection if I can keep it contained to the computer it now infects. That computer was my general purpose internet browsing computer so I can just clean the drive and reinstall windows I have to. There is some stuff I would like to get off of it, though before I kill it so I would like to try to disinfect it first anyway. Thanks in advance.
  2. I went through the first couple and I thought about what I was doing. I definitely have an infection. I can't run Malwarebytes or Superantispyware to detect what it is. It is locking me out from the sites and disabling my ability to run the programs. It is autorunning IE as well as iTunes. It is downloading porn clips and playing them in media player. I'm not sure what it was doing with iTunes. I went away from the computer for a while while I was awaiting a reply. In the several hours I was away It downloaded and ran at least 10 instances of IE and there was a porn clip playing when I came back to the computer. Avast detected a virus/worm in a temporary internet file which I assume was part of the most recent porn downloads. When I tried to encase it in Avast Avast reports back that it can't complete the action. I get similar results when selecting delete or disable options. I was able to get an old version of Malwarebytes to scan and I'm awaiting the results.
  3. I believe my other PC has been infected. It is a Win 7 32-bit install. Here is the error message I was instructed to report to this forum (I guess). The dialog box said: "An error has occurred. Please report the following error code to the Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware support team Error Code: 732(12007,0)"
