  1. @Porthos, thanks for the feedback. I shall await here for a response from the staff member. Thanks 👍
  2. I had cleaned and reinstalled Malwarebytes. The problem remains. Please see attached images and report. Please advise how and what to add to the Malwarebytes allow list. Thanks. report.txt
  3. Hello, Can anyone help with this issue? Is it possible to directly open a support ticket with Malwarebytes? Thanks.
  4. Thanks for your message. Please find attached the requested logs. Thanks. mbst-grab-results.zip
  5. I have PowerPoint 2010 on Windows 10. I am using a PowerPoint add-on from Poll Everywhere. Malwarebytes is incorrectly identifying the Poll Everywhere add-on as an exploit. I have added the Poll Everywhere add-on and the powerpnt.exe files to Malwarebytes' Allow List. However, Malwarebytes still blocks the add-on and prevents loading PowerPoint. Please advise how to fix this issue. Thanks.
  6. Hi Grant, Thanks for the informative reply. This statement now explains why logs were created. However, there is no place in the MBAM help file nor in the program's interface that this information is available. No user will be able to independently discern this information without seeking help from support or this forum. In the MBAM help file it is listed that: This is a global statement without any exclusions or caveats. Text should be added to the MBAM help file to indicate that "silent scans and the protection module will always create logs regardless of any other related program settings". By the way, the help file has many spelling and syntax mistakes as for example those highlighted here in red.Thanks.
  7. I am using MBAM version 1.51.0.1200. Logs are incorrectly being saved despite all settings in MBAM not to save logs. Please see attached image. Thanks.
  8. I do not see the scanner application in the forefront doing a scan when a crash occurs. So is the scanner (MBAM.EXE) doing a silent background scanning? Thanks.
  9. Exile360, Thanks for the detailed reply. Please see below my comments. I have the PRO version and now realize that it is protection module that is crashing. There is no crash while a scan is being performed. No, I have not but will try. This seems the best option to debug the issue. I will do it later on. Thanks, --Spinacia
  10. No, I can not replicate an application crash via the "Exit" button. I know - I never said otherwise. I suspect that in my case it is a file synchronization application called "Syncplicty". Is there any information in the Event Viewer that can help? Thanks.
  11. Thanks daledoc1. I saw Exile360's steps described in post #4 of this thread and had considered them. However, they are irrelevant to me because I am unable to replicate/induce a crash. It seems to me that the MBAM application crashes while some background activity (not a scan) is being performed. --Spinacia
  12. Hi, I am also getting application errors with Mbam.exe on my Windows XP SP3 machine. Below is the Event Viewer record and attached is an image of the error message. Thanks.
