  1. All still good no freezing and no randomly windows firewall turning off then back on
  2. SO far so good I will be gone most of today but I will post after I ran my computer threw some more semi stress test of what I normally would be running game wise and such.
  3. I think that one scan was a partial I ran a full one and removed most of the items it had issues with I can't seem to find remselec22.exe.xxx I found the original one on my flash drive. I then tried to scan it again and it froze a few more times so its not 100% reliable to allow me to fully scan. My computer hasn't been booted up long enough to see if somehow my firewall gets turned off and back or not.
  4. Avira finished up found 4 record that it couldn't fix so they were renamed I found them and deleted them 0 suspect files 146 warnings (all from zip or compressed folders of trusted sites.) The scan didn't freeze this time going to rescan to make sure I found all of the record ones and deleted them.
  5. It never even close to fully finished scanning. However I think I manually deleted the files it was talking about it was from a old install. I'll reboot and try the advira again and see if it gets any further.
  6. Tried running it exactly as stated I DL'ed it from another pc and made the cd it has frozen both times about 5 mins in. The warning is found so far were 8 items all were search and destroy items. I haven't been able to find them on my computer yet. Please advise.
  7. Nm tried a few more types of cd's it didn't like a few of them burning now will scan and Screen shot the results.
  8. that program won't take a dvd or cd to make a disc it looks like its asking for dvd rw but not sure.
  9. Nevermind read it wrong doing on other pc btw new symptom windows firewall randomly turns off and back on
  10. Can I make this cd from another computer or does it have to made on the computer infected? and btw is this a blank cd or dvd? Because it wouldn't allow a cd the frist (I do have dvds)
  11. Hard locks my system just like other scan did and I tried this one 3 times same result.
  12. Someone was telling me about a specific malware targeting xp system to give them issues like this
  13. Yep I tried to run the scan again exactly as dictated and about 5-7 seconds after I click to scan my computer it hard locks my system.
  14. I'll try again computer froze while it was scanning.

  16. Ok all of what you said to uninstall or manually delete is gone except ESET Online Scanner there is no add remove item in control panel or start menu for this program.
  17. Came back after the virus scan nothing infected
  18. So far not freezing or hard locking of my computer except for that long scan that did it. Its definitely froze / hard locked less than when I started doing these scans and such like I stated before.
